It has been 6 years since Eva and I started dating. Everything went off without a hitch. We did end up getting our own house together 2 years into our relationship, since it was getting really awkward to have our parents walking in on us whenever we were having our special moments with each other.
"Can't believe 6 years ago, I was shoving my tongue down your throat in the locker room's shower area..." Eva remarks.
"I can't believe it either, but please do not phrase it like that ever again, I mean it!" I laugh while hugging her.
"Okay, I won't...I love you" she laughs as well and hugs me back.
I sigh, "you can be an idiot sometimes, but I love you too..."
"I never told you or anyone else this, but when we first met, I had this feeling that I was never able to describe. I only felt it when I was around you. I never knew what it was, until I realized it was just me falling more and more in love with you as the days pass. Obviously you felt the same because I'm just that amazing, I'm just kidding, I suck!"
"That was so sweet and hey! You don't suck!"
"I wanna take you out tomorrow, on a date"
"Sure, let's do it"

**********EVA'S POV**********
I make sure to wake up bright and early to prepare for our date. I get dressed all nice and head downstairs. I wanted this day to be extra special for the woman I fell in love with. I fixed her favorite breakfast and pack all the food she loves and head out of the door. I have everything I need packed in a bag. I walk over to our favorite spot, which is a small pier by a huge lake, just a few miles away from the playground we first met at when we were children. I set everything down on the benches right on the edge of the lake. There's just one more thing to take care of...
I head over to the town's ring shop. I look around for a while, then I finally decide on a ring for my Jamie;

It's perfect! I go over to pay for it; $8000. There were cheaper rings that I did find nice, but I'm willing to pay more money to make the love of my life the happiest she's ever been. I return home with the ring and get on top of Jamie like nothing happened.

**********JAMIE'S POV**********
In the morning, I wake up with Eva sitting on top of me. What a great way to start the day with my girlfriend. "Hey honey, you ready for our date?" She asks
"Oh absolutely!" I sit up and give her the biggest kiss.
Eva gets off of me and heads downstairs "make sure to dress nice darling" I get out of bed and get dressed. For my most recent birthday, she got me this really cute dress, so I decided it would be best to wear it today. I fix my hair up really nice and finish getting ready before heading downstairs. "Oh, where'd you get that dress? Whoever got it for you must really love you!" We both laugh. "Oh and I made your favorite for breakfast"
"You didn't have to do all of this!" I claim
"I wanted to make this day extra special for the best girlfriend anyone can ask for" she sits down beside me and softly kisses my cheek.

**********EVA'S POV**********
I grab Jamie's hand as we finish our breakfast. I hand over her shoes and we head out the door. On our way to the pier, I can't control myself. The walk there was filled with me kissing her every few seconds.
Finally, we arrive at the pier. Jamie sees my whole set up and sits down right away. She opens up the bag and quickly pulls everything out. "Oh wow, looks like you remembered what all my favorite things were" she remarks
"I did, again, I wanted this day to be special for you" I give her a smile. Then it hits me, I could be spending the rest of my life with this woman! I'm ready for it.
I sit down beside her and Jamie starts talking about really anything that comes to her mind. I let her speak, all I can think of is what's going to happen next. I felt my heart beat faster and faster the longer I waited. Finally I knew, this was it, this is when I'm going to do it...
I stand up and turn to look at her, she looked slightly confused, but let me continue, "I love you, I always will. You mean the world to me and it would kill me to lose you in any way. I should have probably done this sooner but I'm more than happy to be doing it now." I pull out the ring box, I can see her face light up brighter than ever. Tears start to fall down both our faces, "will you marry me?"
"YES!" She yells, I stand up and she jumps into my arms. We hold each other for a moment there. I lean in to kiss her, she kisses me back "I love you so much! I can't wait to marry you"

**********JAMIE'S POV**********
The day has arrived! This was the day I would marry the love of my life and make her Mrs West. Becca, Oli and Tay are all helping me get ready while Keith and Corey are out helping my lovely Eva.
"Oh my god! You look stunning!" Tay remarks, "Oli, when are we getting married?"
"Soon baby, soon..." he smiles.
"Oh, it's time, let's go!" Becca announces.
There we go, my best friends, walking me down, to marry the love of my life. Seems like I did a lot more than just befriend Ms Matthews...
