I woke up to see that I was riding on the highway with Lavender's mom. I realized that I never asked her name. It wasn't important right now. I stretched my arms and yawned before adjusting myself in my seat. I didn't see my Wendy's bag on my lap where I remembered having it last. I now had a Subway bag. "Did you enjoy your nap?" Asked Lavender's mom. "Yes. I didn't even know I fell asleep." I said, looking down and seeing my shoes were off. "We were talking while you ate, then you fell asleep. I got hungry and saw a Subway nearby, so I got a meatball sub and got you a mini pizza. That was about 20 minutes ago. You were still knocked out when I threw your trash away and got back on the road. Now you're up." "Thanks. That's so nice of you. I also had no idea that Subway made little pizzas." "I didn't either, but I had no idea what you would want since you're so picky. Then I saw that on the menu. Oh, yeah! Got you a little cinnamon roll, too." Where can I find a mom like Lavender's?!? My mom never gets all this for me. "I love cinnamon rolls! Thanks so much." "You're welcome. Didn't want to send you to your parents on an empty stomach." Lavender's mom continued to drive on the highway while I pondered about what was going on and the possible outcomes of my actions. "What if I'm too late and he's somewhere else when I arrive? What if my parents find out I'm gone and come to another state to kill me?!? What if I-" my what -if thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a woman talking when Lavender's mom turned on the radio. The first thing I heard is " The Empire album signing tour is in Chicago tomorrow. Right now a huge crowd of fans are waiting for Jussie Smollett and Yazz to arrive in Detroit." Well I have a change in plans now. Still I had to go to the airport and leave before my parents discovered that I was nowhere to be found. I unlocked my phone to see that the time was now 1:18 pm. We arrived at the airport and Lavender's mom helped me gather my belongings. "Call me when you get to your destination. Be good!" Lavender's mom hugged me and got back in her car. I waved goodbye and walked in the airport while rolling my suitcase. I sighed at the thought of the adventures to come.
