After settling down in my room and putting my clothes away, I plopped down on the bed. It felt so good to be lying down under air conditioning after being in the heat all day. I realized that I was hungry again, seeing that I ate hours ago. When I was about to call room service, my phone lit up and vibrated. A text popped up on the screen. "Hi, it's Jussie. Wanna go to dinner tonight?" Oh my gosh. I unlocked my phone with my fingerprint and replied "Sure. What time?" Momentarily I got another text saying "I'll pick you up in an hour. Give me your hotel's address." After I responded and looked at the time, I went to one of the walk in closets that was in my room. My outfit of choice was a grey v neck, a pair of light washed distressed skinny jeans, and some turquoise blue vans. I took a shower and got dressed. To waste some time (I had 22 minutes to spare), I filled in my eyebrows and watched music videos on the TV. After what seemed like forever, my phone lit up and I saw Jussie's name appear. While looking for my from key, I answered the phone on speaker. "Hello?" "Hey. I'm outside. Are you coming down?" "Yes" I said, grabbing my key card and sliding it into my pocket. "I'll be right down." "Great. You should see me as soon as you come out. Bye." "Bye." I turned off the TV and threw the remote on the bed before leaving. As I was waiting for an elevator to open, I saw the same group of teens from earlier walking by. One of the guys from the group said "Hi. I love your outfit!" While walking away with the others. "Thanks!" I said, walking into the elevator. After stepping out into the lobby and walking outside, I saw a blue 2015 mustang in front of the hotel entrance. I walked over to it, hoping I went to the right car. I tried not to do anything dumb seeing that there were tinted windows and I didn't want to embarrass myself. The back door opened and I saw Jussie smiling at me. "Hey!" He said, scooting over to make space for me in the backseat. As I sat down, he grabbed my hand. Part of me melted and the other tried to maintain my composure. I closed the door, and we pulled off into the streets of Chicago.
