During the ride Jussie and I engaged in small talk. Before I knew it, we ended up at a restaurant called Pierre's. The driver parked and opened the door for me and Jussie. I got out, waiting on him before I walked into the restaurant. Within a minute and a half we were escorted to a booth and handed menus. As the waitress walked away, I decided that I needed to get down to business before I ate anything. "Tell me about your birthday weekend." Jussie looked up from his menu and said "What would you like to know?" "Who did you hang out with?" "I was spending time with my baby." What the hell?!? He had the nerve to act like that was nothing. "Who's your baby?" I asked, waiting for him to be hesitant. "My neice is my baby. She's not really my baby, obviously, but I call her that. She's just so cute!" As I felt dumb for thinking that Jussie was willingly admitting to having a bae, he pulled out his phone. I should have known not to jump to conclusions. "This is her." I looked at the screen of his phone and saw the cutest baby ever in Jussie's lap. "I didn't know your birthday passed until I saw a post in my explore on Instagram. I wish I had knew. I would've left a happy birthday comment!" I tried my best to cover my guilt and stupidity. "It's ok. I was pretty low key with it anyways." "Still, happy belated birthday!" "Thanks." Jussie looked down as he blushed. He was so cute when he was trying to act coy. The waitress came back and asked what we would like to drink. Jussie ordered mango lemonade and I got strawberry lemonade. The most common type of drink at this restaurant was lemonade. After the waitress left again I couldn't control the way I got lost in Jussie's eyes as we talked. I was surprised that I could keep up with the convos because of the daze I was in. Jussie stopped talking, and I knew he had asked me a question. "Huh?" I asked, confused. "Would you like to come to my hotel room later?" Jussie stared at me, waiting for a reply. "Ohhh. Yeah, that's cool." Jussie smirked after hearing my answer. "So you really came here to see me? Miles and miles away from home?" "Um...yeah." I blushed at how flattered Jussie was. Suddenly a man wearing an apron started running to our table. "It's him!" He yelled. "It's really him!" I guess no one had spotted us until now because everyone turned around and stared in awe at Jussie. "Jamal! Jussie. Oh my gosh it's hiiiimmm!!!" Everyone started getting up out their seats and running towards us. Jussie grabbed my hand and we ran out then nearest door. It was like a movie. Everything was so quick I barely knew what was happening.
