Chapter 21

We reached the 4th floor as my mind began to race. As we stepped out of the elevator, Taraji followed me as I tried to act like this was my first time going to Jussie's room. I read the signs on the wall telling which rooms were on which halls. As we approached Jussie's room, I hesitated to continue with this event that I had come in contact with. Taraji knocked on the door as I moved a couple of inches back behind her. Suddenly, Jussie opened it and looked more surprised than ever to see the gorgeous creature standing there in front of him. Sadly, that was not me. It was her. After hugging her and smiling wider than I'd seen before, Jussie invited us in. Taraji turned around and asked "So you're the amazing Josh I've heard about?!?" I gulped and replied "Yeah, I guess that's me." "Damn, Jussie. He's cuter than you said he was!" I blushed at the compliment she gave me. "I know, it's amazing how fine he is." Jussie smiled at me as I tried to hide the excitement on my face. I was relieved to see that this was another minor situation that I over thought. As we all came in to the room, I remembered that food was on the way for us. "Taraji" I said, almost dying as she turned and looked at me with her gorgeous embrace. "We ordered room service. Would you like some?" "Oh, no. I'm going out tonight. I just stopped by for a quick visit." "Going out? With who?!?" Jussie asked, sitting down on the couch. "Well...." Taraji bit her glossy red lip as we anticipated her answer. "Y'all know.... Um.. Michael. Michael Ealy." "Oh my gawsh! I semi yelled ratchetly. "When were you gonna tell me?!?" Asked Jussie, a wide grin on his face. "I knew Think Like a Man would lead to more chemistry between y'all." "Aha! Shut up Jussie. He asked me out tonight and I....said yes of course!" Taraji seemed tickled by the conversation. "When is your date? " I asked excitedly. "Well...uh...let me see the time." Taraji pulled out her phone and looked heavily worried. With a panicked expression, she blurted out "Oh, no!" Jussie and I were startled by the sudden change of mood.
