I called an uber after buying some new clothes around the mall. The place was so big, I was wore out in 2 hours. When I got in the back of the car with my bags, I gave the driver the address of the hotel. As we rode out the parking lot, I decided to go on Instagram. Immediately, without thinking about it I went to Jussie's page. I clicked on his latest post. He was sitting at a table in what appeared to be a casual- classy restaurant with silly string on his lap. After reading the caption I realized that I missed his birthday yesterday. Also, there was something else that I missed. The beginning of the caption read 'Spent the bday weekend with m'baby'. In previous interviews and whatnot I remember Jussie saying that he keeps his personal life private, but I didn't know he kept a specific person private. Suddenly, as I was staring at the picture my mom's name popped up on my phone. I hesitated at first, but I answered anyway. "Hello." I said, trying to act as normal as possible. "Hi. Lavender's mom just came over here asking if we just came back from the airport. She said she dropped you off. What's going on?!?" "My friend Alex invited me to Disneyland and it was short notice. I asked her to take me to the airport and I said that I would call you later. She must have thought I was going to meet you there." "Since when do you leave the state without telling anyone?!? You better be lucky I'm not face to face with you right now. Have fun while you can. Tell Alex and everyone hello for me. When you get home, you're big trouble." "Ok, Mom. I'll talk to you later." "Bye." As I hung up, I contemplated not coming back home. Another part of me didn't want to be here anymore after finding out that my potential bae has someone already. It just didn't make sense. He was so sweet and he had a flirting tone when he spoke to me. As we arrived at the hotel, I paid the driver a tip along with my ride fee. I grabbed my bags and walked inside. As I stepped into the elevator, I decided that I wasn't going to give up easy. I needed to find out who was with Jussie and what he had in mind for 'hanging out'. Operation Smollett was going to be put into action. Step one: investigation.
