Taehyung's dad took hot showers to cool down whenever he was upset or disappointed in himself. Along with a cup of warm coffee, he'd come back to his senses. Taehyung tried copying him today—they played as his 'Taehyung-time' so that he could sort off his thoughts.
He was not gonna tell anyone about his negative thoughts. Except for dad, but, he wasn't even awake and Taehyung didn't want to spend another day wondering if anyone was genuine with their caring-ness for him.
He felt guilty for hoping the world, or some part of it beyond his (ex) girlfriend and dad, will be sad to see him go.
Why was he so unlucky? Why were his thoughts corrupted?
Taehyung turned off the faucet and the water stopped raining on him, pulling him out of his 'Taehyung-time'. He grabbed his t-shirt, put it on, and took in a deep breath, trying to collect his mind together. He was going to spend the next few days just with himself—maybe that would bring back his inspiration to move on?
He sighed deeply, walking to the window in his room that was once his favorite spot. Watching the petals of the red flowers of his neighbor's garden float in the air, he backed off.
Taehyung walked into his closet and pulled out the blue-and-gray flannel shirt his ex-girl got him for his twenty-sixth birthday—keeping their relationship hidden from cameras was difficult, but, he managed to make time for her too.
He checked his watch—an old one of Dad's he gave him after buying a digital one that could glow, for his bad eyes—and it was close to 1:00 AM. On a regular day, Taehyung would be playing video games until late at night, even if it meant going to practice exhausted.
Should he go out for a walk? He could count trees, maybe sing a favorite song while dipping his feet in the Han River, and just do his best to be remembered as the World's Most Handsome Man who died from depression.
With that said, Taehyung felt his face turning into a frown and his eyes squinting to release tears. He went back to the couch, giving up on that thought, and rolled up under the extra blanket left, wetting it by the saltiness of the emotions his eyes let out.
The sound of the clock ticking sounded so loud that he had to shut his ears with the palms of his hands. "Stop . . . Just stop everything." He whispered to himself, releasing a shaky breath. He didn't want to wake his dad up.
