"Rick, what do we do with her?" Maggie sighed, looking to the man who stood at her side. His expression solemn until he looked through the window, seeing the young girl curled in a ball. Both of her dog companions sitting beside her, just like a pair of guard dogs. His expression softened as he seemed to think things over in his mind, a small sympathetic frown across his features.

"She could stay with us; we'd keep a person with her at all times." He suggests, his hand rubbing his temples as he spoke. He seemed unsure and tired, drained from everything that's happened lately.

"Then it's settled..."

Instinctively Addison hugged her bag close to her chest, following behind the man she learned was named Rick. Darkness had just fallen, the only light illuminating from the houses that they passed. At this point it would be suicide if the girl choice to run but besides either way she couldn't leave Kopa and Buck behind. Like hell she was going to leave those two behind, there her family now.

Rick turned towards a fairly large two-story house, but Addison's feet came to a stop just before the porch, unsure whether or not she was ready to go in. Another man sat on the wooden fence of the porch, his hands fiddling with the crossbow on his lap. It only took a moment to realise this was the man she had seen with the boy a few days ago. His dark hair long and messy, covering half his face which not even a smile would be caught dead appearing on. He reminded me of a few people she'd met when her dad took her on hunts with him, much to Dean's disgust. Dean never liked it when John took Addison, so Dean would almost always try to tag along more than mostly successful, the ones he wasn't he'd convince dad to let Addison stay with him. This was the only time Addison had ever been away from Dean for this long, in all honesty she always relied on him being around but now she can't.

"We won't hurt ya..." the man on the porch spoke, making Addison look at him before cautiously stepping forward. "You got trust issues or what?"

"I didn't have the greatest childhood, only two people I've ever fully trusted and there not here now so..." The girl began to trail off realising she had begun to over share, tears threatening to cloud her vision at just the thought. "I'll be gone before you know it anyway..."

The last part Addison muttered under her breath, hopping to Chuck that he hadn't heard it. To be honest it felt good to be saying it a loud but Addison realised how much trouble she could get into.

"Daryl leave the girl alone!" Rick chuckles motioning for Addison to follow him into the house. A nervousness flooding through her as she stepped in, grip tightening on the bag. All eyes landed on Addison, causing her to shift uncomfortably. Each step making little noise, all due to the training from her brothers. Guess old habits die hard.

"You'll be staying here for the night." Rick informs the teenager, leading her through a mass of people to the stairs after a quick introduction of everyone. To a room with two beds, "I hope you don't mind sharing with my son."

As if in cue, the boy from before enters. A small smile spreading across his lips, his hand adjusting his hat on his head.

"I never introduced myself, I'm Carl." The boy spoke, his voice sounding happy. His movements hurried as he moved forward holding his hand out, making Addison flinch at his suddenness.

"This is Addison!" Rick informs his son, as Addison stood and stared at his hand for a second before slowly placing hers into his. His skin was soft, sending a shiver down her spine causing her to quickly retract his hand.

"Can I see my dogs? Can I have my bow back?" Addison began to ask her list of questions just as Rick was about to leave, as he turns back thinking "my brother gave it to me for my birthday, it means a lot..."

"I'll think about it!" He tells her before walking out the room, leaving her alone with Carl. Addison would be lying if she said that she wasn't attracted to him, but Addison couldn't allow herself to get attached, she'll be gone by the morning whether they like it or not. Awkwardly Addison began to shift her weight from one foot to the other, Carl's eyes watching her every move as if trying to figure the girl out. His hand motioned towards the bed furthest from the window, carefully and quickly she headed over to it, placing the bag at the foot of the bed.

Only once Addison was almost one hundred percent sure, everyone has fallen to sleep she decided to make her move. Of course, she knew the dangers of being outside after dark, but Addison couldn't make herself sit there and do nothing.

Slipping on her comfortable boots, Addison grabbed her bag and tip toeing towards the window. Unfortunately for her, Carl's bed remained positioned right in front of her escape route with him asleep. Leaning over him, careful not to wake him, Addison pushed open the stiff window. Throwing her bag out the opening, she cringed at the sound of it hitting the hard ground. With her long hair tied back, the plat falling into her pale face. Placing her foot on the edge of bed frame, she raised her body off the floor. Stepping over his sleeping body, Addison sat on the windowsill cold air attacking her bruised skin.

Out of fear, Addison held her breath. Carl rolled in is sleep, soft mumbles tumbling from his lips. Only when the girl believed he wasn't going to wake up, did she begin to breathe again. Swinging her legs over the side, dangling them outside, her eyes gazed at the drop below. It looked a lot higher than she believes it actually was, but she knew it would sill hurt if this went wrong.

Just as Addison had done thousands of times before sneaking out in the past, her left-hand reaches out and grabs the drainpipe. Trusting herself, she allowed her body to leave the safety of the windowsill, right hand grabbing the pipe before she slid down. Once the dead leaves crunch under her boots, a smirk falls across her lips. Grabbing the backpack she slung it over her shoulder, eyes adjusting perfectly in natural dark night. Addison couldn't help but feel a guilty sensation run through her, all these people have done is be nice. But still Addison was up and leaving in the middle of the night, not a thank you in mind. Running a hand over her face, Addison forced herself to shake her mind back on course focusing purely on getting out of here.

Stumbling forwards, her legs felt numb and painfully sore, yet it wasn't going to stop her; even the horrid pain sharp in her thigh and dulling headache. No, in fact it made Addison want to move faster, compelling her to keep going. However, luck was not on Addison's side.

"You can't stop me!" Addison warned Daryl, who now stood from his spot on the porch. His eyebrow raising in a look Dean used to give her, whenever she made a statement like this one. Daryl didn't even need to say a word, Addison knew exactly what he would of said.
