"Castiel, please can I come?" The angel remained unmoved by Addison's constant begging, only growing tired of the irritating whine in her voice. Buck appeared to disagree with the girls request, letting out a huff every time she mention leaving with him. However it didn't matter, Castiel wasn't one to crack, so it was just wishful thinking. Come to think of it, she was glad nobody had questioned how the Angel had gotten inside the walls of Alexandria.

It has been three days since Addison and Castiel had there fight, but finally the girl had come around. With each day since, the girl had begun to enjoy her time in Alexandria. Even going as far as making friends with a few kids Carl had introduced her to, and avoided disagreements with adults. Gaining there trust wasn't as hard as it was for her to begin to trust them. Kopa seemed to take an instant likening to Judith, spending all his time guarding the young toddler. Every hour of everyday Addison had spent with Carl, the pair having grown close in the three days.

Something about Carl drew Addison in, something which she was unable to pinpoint. Butterflies erupting in the pit of her stomach whenever he was near, something that had spooked her the first few times.

Flicking the Dutch braid off her shoulder, she released a dramatic irritated sigh. Pouting her bottom lip, hazel eyes holding an ounce of hope. If Castiel were to take a guess, with they way in which Addison was raised, she never got the chance to be a real child; so much like her older brother Dean, at times her actions became immature. Her elder brother's best friend, need not say his answer. His worn features faulting into a frown, blue eyes narrowing in a warning.

"Hey, Addie come over here!" A familiar voice echoed out from behind her, her lips tugging into a smile as she turned. Although with her back turned, the flutter of wings alerted her that Castiel had gone, leaving her behind. Surprisingly that didn't falter her smile, the sight of Carl holding Judith tightly walking towards her. As usual Kopa was at his side, taking his role seriously of guarding Judith. Reaching forwards, Carl chuckled as he watched Addison tickle his sister's sides. The toddler squealing out in a fit of giggles, only causing the girl in front of him to smile wider.

"So ... what did you need?" The question rolled of Addison's tongue effortlessly, moving to walk at Carl's side. Both falling into a fast but comfortable pace.

"I'm taking Judith and Kopa to Carol, and I thought I could you'd a used your company!" His words fell out in a nervous stutter, a small blush reaching his cheeks. The feeling returned to her stomach, giving Addison the urge to gaze at the floor before look back at the boy.

"I feel honoured Mr Grimes..." Addison teased, lightly hitting him playfully on the arm. Causing his blush to deepen, his blue eyes looking down at the girl, glistening under the sun rays. As they reached there destination, Judith was handed over, followed by both Kopa and even Buck.

Carl reached out to grab her forearm, his skin rough and warm against hers. She didn't fight him as he lead her through the streets, allowing him to take full control. The Winchester couldn't explain why, but she had grown to trust the boy. Within three days, he had managed to break down the girls emotional barriers without realising it himself.

"Where are we going?" It came out like a school girl giggle, something which she frowned at herself for. It just didn't seem like her, or maybe this was who she was supposed to be deep down. But either way if Dean or Sam had been around, both of them would have teased her for it.

"You'll see!" Carl smiled, his voice showing his joyful emotions. Although Addison's features faulted into a confusion, the tall steel wall crossing our path.

A chuckle escaped, as he slowly realised her from his grip. His hands now holding onto pieces of the wall, his muscles flexing as he pulled himself up. A devilish smile possessed Addison, as she climbed behind him. Evenly spreading her weight between her hands and feet, making her way easily up the wall; passing Carl to the top. Stopping at the top, her head quickly checks for walkers. Seeing none, the teenager made her way down to the ground in the other side.

With hands resting upon her hips, a smile painted across pink lips she waited for Carl. Sinking her top teeth into her bottom lip, Addison couldn't help her hazel eyes from watching him closely. The way his brown t-shirt rising up under his light blue plaid shirt, part of his stomach coming on show. She could see the gun tucked safely into his waist band, for protection out here. Each movement, his eyebrows furrowed and blue orbs narrowed in concentration. As his boots touched the ground, the crunch of leaves blew dust around his ankles. The breeze knocking his hat off his head, revealing the top of his messy dark hair.

Bending down, Addison could feel Carl's eyes on her as she picked his hat up in her hands. It's material soft within her fingers, standing slowly she took a step forward; closing the distance between them. Lifting her hands up, she placed the hat back onto his head. Bodies extremely close, a tightness forming in her chest.

"Where to now?" Addison asks in a whisper, her gaze falling to the floor. Instinctively she tucked a loose strand of dark hair behind her ear, placing space between them, attempting to avoid meeting his eyes. She heard Carl clear his throat, his weight shifting from foot to foot.

"This way..." he mumbles, shoving his hand in his pockets. His cheeks tainted pink, as he began to shuffle his way deeper into the woods. Wanting to keep close behind him, Addison found herself quickening her pace as they entered the woods.

A gasp slipped out, eyes widening at the sight before her. The sunlight shone down, reflecting of clear waters of a running river. A large willow tree overhung it, a few of the emerald green leaves filling into its clear liquid. Littered across were large flat silver stones, a few covered in darker green moss. This place just looked so alive, as if it were untouched by the death which has effected every where else.

"Here!" Carl spoke, his hand held out for the girl. Gently Addison took his rough hand, holding gently liking the warmth spreading through. She held onto him tightly as he stepped out onto the first flat stone, before pulling her towards him. Slowly and carefully he continued to help Addison across the river, a smile spreading across both there lips.

Softly chuckling Addison felt nothing but joy as he made it to the bank, his hand pulling her towards him again as he tripped. The girl squealed, his weight dragging her down. Her body fell into his, Carl's hat falling to the side for the second time. Addison lifted her head meeting Carl's gaze, to see the boy beaming. Letting go of his hands, Addison pushed herself up. Het raised to both there cheeks, as Addison helped Carl to his feet.

"Sorry..." he muttered picking up his hat, holding it in his hands. His blue eyes meet brown, something hidden inside which Addison couldn't figure out what. "Do you like it?"

"I love it!" Addison spoke truthfully, gaze drifting over to the beautiful scenery. In a matter of second, Addison found herself looking back over at Carl, the boy now sat on a large smooth rock. He slides over making room, before beckoning her over. There shoulder's brushed together, but both seemed comfortable with the closeness. Addison couldn't help but flinch when Carl moved closer, but relaxed when she felt a soft material cover the top of her head.

"It suits you..." Carl chuckles lowly, his features lightening up as he spoke about his hat. Lifting his hand, he rested it against Addison's cheek. Heat radiating off of him, and through her skin. There eyes remained glued together, unable to look away as the pair began to lean in. In reality Addison don't know who it was that closed the space, but there lips crashed together. A tingling feeling sparking in the pit of Addison's stomach, arms instinctively wrapping around his neck. His lips felt warm and soft, taking it slow and not rushed. It all felt so right, as Addison found herself smiling into the kiss. Breaking away, neither of them could stop the smiles spread across there faces.
