"Wow, you got a bike!" The words had slipped off Addison's tongue before she had a moment to process her words, catching Daryl a little off guard. His head turned quickly, a chuckle tumbling off his lips. Hesitantly, the young brunette teen moved to sit on the stool beside him.

A comfortable silence fell upon the pair, as Addison watched the man work. It was something about the way in which he treated the bike with care, reminded her of Dean and his relationship with 'baby' his beloved car. Addison couldn't count the amount of times, she had sat with Dean, watching as he worked on baby. If she were to be honest, in those times she was bored but now she'd give anything to go back and relive those moments. Moments in which Addison had spent with her older brother Dean, without the dooming pressure of the family business.

"You into bikes?" It was a simple question, one which caused her lips to stretch into a light hearted smile. Her gaze dropped to the ground as she shook her head, exhaling a heavy breath.

"Nope," Addison spoke softly, lifting her eyes to the man's face to find his already on her. A look of slight confusion tainting his features, not understanding her interest if she wasn't into bikes. "I used to sit with my brother, when he worked on his beloved car. This reminds me of the times we shared together. Nothing big, just..."

Addison paused, rethinking her words, trying to come across as sincere as possible. "Parts of my life before the apocalypse, things I wished I appreciated at the time."

"Before the apocalypse huh?" Addison only nodded, turning her eyes back towards Daryl, finding his intense gaze upon her.

"Do you think my brothers would understand... if I decided to stay here?" She wondered aloud, a slight shake in her voice as she hesitated. Dark eyes now fixated on the tools, scattered inside the metal box at Daryl's feet. The man's actions freezing at her words, dropping the screw driver in which he had reached for. Sitting up straighter, he pulled the rag from his back pocket. Wiping the dirt and grease of his pale hands, thinking carefully on how to answer her question.

Daryl had never heard of the name Winchester before he met Addison, giving the solid impression that he had never met either on of her brothers. The brunette knew that he wouldn't have known what they were like, or even how they would think. The question in which she spoke was mostly for herself, a question for herself to think about.

"If they really loved you, they'd understand!" Daryl wasn't sure entirely what to say, he never had anyone to care about truly until the apocalypse and even then it took some time to accept them. Yeah he had his brother, but his brother wasn't a great man. "It's a dangerous world out there, for everyone. Surely they want you safe, meaning they would understand if you were to stay."

"I haven't decided yet," Addison brushed her hair over her shoulder, arms crossing over her chest as she stared at the floor.

"Well, while you make up your mind lets go."

"Go where?" Addison questioned as she stood, following after the older man.

"I'm going hunting... I'm your excuse to go look for your brothers!" He spoke with a slight edge in his voice, the tone almost suggesting that he was trying to keep the mood light. The young girl furrowed her brow slightly, seeing the older man before her smirk, his own eyes brightly sparkling. "Plus gives you some alone time to gather your thoughts."

"As long as I can go get Buck,"

Hey Readers,

I know I have already posted this week, but since I had left you all without updates for so long I decided to release this chapter as well. It's not perfect, but I wanted to highlight the kind of friendship between or sibling like bond between Daryl and Addison.
