Promise (Power Rangers Time Force Lucas)

He remember the first time he met Tessa. Her small smile lit up his whole world in a matter of seconds. Her eyes shined brightly towards him. And her blond hair made her look amazing. It was love at first sight, no doubt about it, for both of them.

He could already tell that she'd be playing hard to get. And she already knew that he would be such a flirt. But both knew it would be worth it in the end.

"I'm Lucas." He greeted, showing off his flirty grin.

"Tessa." She smiled back, lifting her hand up to shake it.

Lucas threw her a small smirk, gently grabbed her hand and lifted it up to his lips, place a small kiss to the back of her hand. "Very nice to meet you."

Normally with anyone else, she'd drop kick them to the floor and made it clear that she wanted nothing to do with them. But with Lucas, she very much enjoyed how he was.

For the next couple weeks, he'd continue to try and make conversation with her. Either he'd go looking for her, or he'd accidentally run into her.

And every time she saw him from afar, or if she heard his voice, she always try to keep a professional look, but the smile she had didn't hide it very well.

"Lovely day, isn't it?" He asked.

"I guess so, but it feels as if it had just gotten better."

It didn't take long for a relationship to happen between them. When he could, he'd have a bouquet of flowers waiting at her desk, for no reason at all.

She'd come to her desk and find the flowers just sitting there. There was never a note, but she knew who it was from. Coworkers would come to her, complimenting the flowers she had just received.

Lucas would watch from afar as her coworkers would surround her. He'd smile to himself, realizing he hit the jackpot, and found the girl of his dreams.

While Alex was in the warehouse fighting off Ransik, everyone continued to surround the place with their weapons. Lucas ran over to Trip and kneeled down, aiming his weapon at the building.

He felt a figure kneel down next time him. He looked over and saw Tessa. He could t help but smile at her. She looked up and him, throwing him the same smile.

The warehouse suddenly exploded. Lucas quickly grabbed Tessa and ducked down, shielding her from the blast. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yes, thanks."

They all stood back up and looked back towards the building. There, they watched Alex walking out with Ransik handcuffed. Everyone continued to celebrate. Other officers ran over and detained Ransik.

Alex powered down and walked back over to the captain. After their small conversation, he walked over to Jen and gave her a large hug.

"Looks like it's over. For now at least." Tessa said. "Maybe the two of us can finally go on a date." She nudged Lucas.

"Definitely." He smirked. "But let's just wait until he's finally locked up. I think I'll finally be at peace until then."

"Fine by me. Gives me time to pick out an outfit and find something for us to do."

"Whatever you want."

"Come on lovebirds. Let's go back home." Katie shouted.

"I quite like her nickname for us." Tessa said honestly.

"Please, it's lame." Lucas mocked.

"Well aren't you boring." Tessa said, lifting her hand up and squeezing his cheek. "Now let's go. I'd like to go to bed now."
