Meant to update yesterday, but it went over my head. I'll make sure to update tomorrow as well. Promise

Sam couldn't help but to not look away. Not because of how gorgeous he was, or how pretty his eyes were, but because he was a massive dork. And Lucas staring at himself in a mirror for the past ten minutes just proved it to her even more. Though, she did find his dorky side quite cute as well. But she didn't know any other person who was like him.

"Do you look at yourself everyday?" Sam asked.

Lucas turned to her and smirked. "Always. Got a problem with it?" He turned back to the mirror, then playing around with his hair.

"How does one be so confident in themselves?" Sam sighed.

"Easy, you have to be me." Lucas said confidently.

"Why bother pretending to be cool when you're clearly not?" Sam mocked.

Lucas scoffed at her. "What are you talking about? I am cool." He rolled his eyes. He put the mirror down on the table and sat down next to her. "Do you not have a tutoring session today?"

Sam shook her head. "I can't have one everyday. What do I do if a mutant were to suddenly attack? I need to keep a close watch." She explained. "Do you have problem with me being here?" She questioned.

Lucas shook his head. "Not at all. If anything, it's nice having you around. I get to spend more time with you." He smiled.

"You get to spend more time with me?" Sam questioned

"Huh?" Lucas finally realized what he had just said. "Well...what I mean is...we all like having you around. It's nicer when you're here." He corrected.

"I see." Sam said. "I like spending time with you too." She blushed, turning her head to the side.

Lucas turned to her, and saw the slight blush on her cheeks. He couldn't help but to smile. Sam slightly looked back to him, and saw him smiling at her. "Why are you staring at me?" She asked awkwardly.

"Because you're cute. Am I not aloud to look?" He asked.

Sam scoffed and turned her head the other way. Lucas scooted closer to her, causing Sam to turn back confused. Neither of them could look away. Lucas could help but to smile at the blush on her cheeks. And Sam loved his eyes. They were gorgeous.

Lucas looked down to her lips, and he couldn't even that he was slowly leaning it. But Sam was able to tell. He was slowly leaning in closer and closer, his lips just so close to hers. But she wasn't sure what to do. Was she supposed to let it happen, or stop him. In all honesty, she didn't really want to.

The sudden footsteps running up the stairs caused them to pull back and look away from each other awkwardly. "We brought pizza!" Wes called out. Sam turned to him excitedly. "It's pineapple." He said

Sam's smile quickly dropped. Wes scoffed as he placed the pizza on the table. "What a waste." She muttered.

"Its not that bad." Wes said.

"It's terrible." Sam said.

"Pineapple on pizza sounds pretty good to me." Lucas said.

"I think it sounds weird." Trip said.

"It can't be that bad, Sam." Jen said.

"You guys can be the judge of that. It's terrible." Sam scoffed.

"Give it a try." Wes offered.

Everyone took a small slice and bit into it. All of them having somewhat the same reaction. "This actually isn't that bad." Trip said.
