Reaching the top of the stairs, Sam smiled as she saw Lucas sitting at the table. Even though his back was turned to her, and that he hadn't noticed her come up yet, she still couldn't help but to smile. Sam quietly walked up to him, wrapping her arms around his waist. "What are you up to?" She asked.

Lucas quickly closed the notebook and held it close to his chest. "Nothing." He lied, suddenly feeling very nervous. "When did you get here?" He asked.

"Just now." Sam answered. She pulled her arms away and sat down next to him. She looked around and notice no one else was home. "I'm guessing they're at a job." She assumed.

Lucas nodded his head. "I'm sure they're done by now. They should be back any minute though." He said.

"I see." Sam muttered.

Lucas smiled down at the girl. He scooted closer, grabbing her and and gently squeezing it. Sam froze on the spot, nervously looking back up to Lucas. "You're way too cute." He said.

"Shut up." Sam muttered, turning her head to the side.

Lucas used his other hand to turn her back around to face him, caressing her cheek, then moving down to her. lips. Sam was getting more nervous by the second. Lucas could tell. It only made him chuckle.

Lucas slowly started to lean in. Sam closed her eyes, waiting for his lips to land on hers, but both pulled away when they heard footsteps coming up the stairs. "They're back a lot sooner than expected." Lucas sighed.

When they reached the top, Sam stood up and helped bring in any of the boxes they had. "Back already?" Lucas asked.

"Yup. We picked a whole orchard" Wes said.

"They let us take these home." Trip said.

Lucas put the notebook down on the table. And without knowing, Katie grabbed it and opened it up. "What's this?" She questioned.

"Hey, give me that!" Lucas said. He stood up from the table and began chasing Katie around as she read the book out loud.

The others were pretty entertained, but also quite confused. Katie threw the book to Jen, who easily caught it. The others then walked over and surrounded her. "Who's is this? Lucas, "People think you're bad but you make my heart race." There's no way this is about Sam." Jen laughed.

"For your information, it's not about anyone." Lucas said, angrily snatching the book away. "It's about my first...racecar." He said awkwardly.

They all laughed. Sam shook her head and smiled at him. "A car?" Jen laughed.

"Not just any car, racecar." Lucas repeated.

"Now I've heard everything." Katie laughed. Lucas sent her a deadly glare.

"Rangers! There's a mutant attack at the industrial center." Circuit said.

"Let's go." Jen said.

They all began running down the stairs. But Lucas grabbed Sam's arm and turned her around. "Can you please forget about this? I find it kinda embarrassing." Lucas asked.

"No promises. But I think it's quite adorable." Sam laughed. "Only thing that will take my mind off it is fighting off these mutants. So we should hurry."

"The faster the better."

When they arrived, the found a mutant terrorizing everyone, and as well as Nadira just sitting down, completely bored. The all ran over, Jen holding up her badge, and Nadira caught by surprise by their sudden appearance. "You're under arrest, Chameliacon!"
