Chapter 11

Terrence was back in his room from before the games started. He was wondering where Rebecky was when he heard a knock at his door.

"Come in." he said. A man with green hair walked in the room.

"A letter came for you." the man said.

    "Oh. Thanks." said Terrence.

"And Rebecky Trinket says that she's sorry that she can't be here. She has important business to take care of." said the man.

"Thanks for telling me." Terrence said.

"Is there anything else you need?" asked the man.

"No. I'm fine." Terrence replied. With that the man walked out of the room.

"This is probably a note from Rebecky telling me to behave." Terrence said to himself.  When he opened the note, he saw that it wasn't Rebecky. The note said:

Dear Terrence,

I wanted to let you know now that I survived the crash. I planned the “accident” to happen right in front of a loose stone in the wall of the coliseum. I escaped to your home in District 12 and found help from your family. I can’t stand this violence and torture anymore.  Please forgive me.

    From,

        Aspyn

"She's alive!" Terrence whispered.

On the train back home, Rebecky arrived.

"Are you excited to get home?" she asked.

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but yes. I’m going to be glad to see Gage, Ali, and my parents again." Terrence answered.

"I also believe that someone else is waiting there for you." said Rebecky with a smile.

"Wait, how did you know? You weren't there when I got the letter."

"How do you think you got the note?"

    "You? You sent it?"

"Yes. Aspyn gave it to me when I snuck her on the train."

    "How did you do that?"

"Her stylist and I disguised her as a capitol person. Orange is really her color." Rebecky laughed.

    "That's cool." Terrence said.

“You better get ready to leave. We'll stop any minute now."
