    They all agreed that Rebecky and Leif should carry out the plan, because they were Capitol people and probably the ones that the peacekeepers trusted the most. When they go there, they began to speak.

    “We need you to let Miss Catalpa go.” Rebecky started.

    “That’s why you’re here? You know whatever you’re planning won’t work.”

    “Well, if you let her go and take Terrence, Aspyn, and Rika from this year’s Hunger Games, then we won’t bother you anymore, and it will be less likely for the people to start a rebellion following the actions of our Aspyn.” said Leif

Aspyn and Terrence decided that, maybe, it wasn’t for them to take down the Capitol. That job was somebody else’s. They were there just to slow the Capitol down. They just didn’t want to remember that year’s games and other happenings.

    “So if we let her go and erase Terrence and his friends from the history of the games, then you don’t bother us and you stop the rebellion that already began?”

    “Yes.” Rebecky and Leif said together.

    “We will consult President Snow about this.”

A week later, they came back with a response.

    “He says to let her go. He’s probably just still grieving over his cousin. He can’t think straight.”

    “Sure. Whatever you say.” said Leif.

    “Thank the President for us, please. We will be taking Miss Catalpa with us this time.” said Rebecky, covering up Leif’s response.

Aspyn got to go back to her district using her real name. Reunited with her family, she was happier than she had been in years. There was only one thing keeping her from her true happiness, not seeing Terrence. It was agreed that they would be able to visit. The Catalpa family eventually moved to District Twelve because of too many bad memories in District Seven. The beautiful amphitheater that used to house the Victor’s Ceremony was damaged so much from Aspyn’s attack that it was never used again.
