Ch.1/ A New Recruit for the Avengers

Tony Stark is pulling up to the Avengers Compound, and stops and gets out, with his usual haircut and beard, with those sunglasses and his fany suit, and walks in, "Friday, where is Capsicle, tell him to meet me for a moment as I need to have a talk with him, but it's a good kind of talk", "on it Boss, he is in the training room, while the others are lounging around the common area". Tony walks to the common area and sees everyone but Steve and Natasha around, "Tones, what are you doing here?", "well, I need to talk with Steve about a new recruit to the Avengers", "a new recruit already? I just got here", says Wanda.

Tony laughs at that joke, "dont worry no one is being replaced, just think that with Barton and I being retired, Thor off world and Bruce gone.... we really need more recruits to the Avengers", he says, as everyone nods. Steve walks in and see's Tony, "Tony, good to see you", "like wise", Tony brings out his phone and shows a holographic video of what happened in New York just 2 weeks prior, "what do you know about Spiderman?", asks Tony.

Steve look at the video as this Spiderman is fighting a lizard like creature, "what the hell is he fighting?", asks Sam, "that would be Dr. Curt Connors, who genetically mutated himself and wanted to turn all of New York into that while we were in Sokovia... and while we were kicking ass, Spiderman saved New York, and I think he can be a great asset to the team, if we train him of course", says Tony.

"Tony, are you sure you wanna bring him in?", "yes, we need more Avengers, how long will this last before we fight another machine or aliens who wanna kill off humanity Cap, we need him, and he'll be a great asset to the team, especially for his age", says Tony. Steve looks at him, "you met him already haven't you?", asks Steve, as Sam and Rhodey look at him, "no but I did figure out his identity", says Tony as he brings up a photo of a kid, "his names Peter Parker, 15 years old, turn 16 in August, and he lives in Queens".

Steve looks at the kids photo, "Tony I'm not sure a kid should be in this, I don't like the idea of putting him in danger", "Cap, he put himself in danger fighting Connors and survived, that is something he did himself, no one told him to do that, but he took it upon himself to save New York for everyone else", says Tony. Steve nods knowing he was right, no one told the kid to do this, he did it himself, "... ok fine, bring him in, but he'll need alot of training before he gets sent out on a mission", says Steve.

Tony smiles, "there we go, you'll like the kid, he a straight A student at Midtown High and is a nice kid all around, well so I've seen from watching him for the last 3 months", says Tony as he makes himself a cup of coffee.

Wanda looks at the picture of the kid and kinda blushes, 'for a 15 year old, he's really cute', she thinks, as she continues to read do her nails. "Great, this kid sounds like a bundle of joy", Sam says sarcastically, "give him a break, you haven't even met the kid, you might like him", says Wanda, "see, she's giving him a chance, so we all agree?", "agree on what?", says Natasha, as she walks in and see's a photo of a kid, "Tony is bringing in this kid to be an Avenger, he's this Spiderman hero who saved New York while we were in Sokovia", says Rhodey.

Natasha looks and thinks he's a cute kid, "alright I'm game, I wann see what he can do, so I wanna train personally", says Natasha, "fine then its agreed, just don't kill the kid on his first day ok Romanoff", says Tony as he drinks more of his coffee, "no promises, if he trains with us, he's not getting any breaks what so ever", "exactly, even if he is a kid. He's an Avenger", "yeah, I get that just don't kill him ok", says Tony, almost like he trying make us promise him, "dont worry, I won't kill him', says Natasha, "good, now if you'll excuse me, I have some meetings to attend to", says Tony, as he leaves the common room.

Rhodey looks at Natasha and Steve, "this is gonna be interesting, a kid who's an Avenger", "after the Chitari invasion, nothing surprises me anymore", says Natasha, as she makes herself a cup of coffee, "it'll be interesting with him here though", says Natasha, "Friday bring up video on Spiderman", says Steve, and video of Spiderman swinging around New York appears and he lands on the side of a building and climbs the building before jumping and swinging away.

Steve can't help but be amazed that someone can climb the side of buildings, "man, everyone has a gimmick these days", says Sam, "maybe you're one talk Falcon", says Natasha, earning a chuckle from Rhodey and Wanda, "ok ok, I'll stop", says Sam, "I agree, let's give him a chance, he could be a good asset to the team in the future", says Steve, as he leaves and heads to his room.
