Peter and Wanda are the only ones at the Compound, Steve, Natasha and everyone else, excluding Tony, left for a mission and the 2 newest Avengers are left alone, which gives then time to be around each other. Peter walks to the common area and finds Wanda playing her guitar and listens as she plays, but she looks up, "oh hey Pete, how long we're you listening?", "I actually just walked in, that was amazing", "you think so? I haven't been playing for that long, but I've always had interest", "well like I said, that was amazing", he says, taking a seat.

She puts the guitar down and looks at him, "hey, I'm hungry but there is nothing good to eat, wanna go out for today?", "yeah, that sounds good, I can show you the best places around New York", "that sounds great, let me get dressed comfortably", "alright then".

When she's dressed, she meets Peter at the common area and they leave together, "where would you like to eat? know the best places around New York", "how about somewhere where we can alone, I don't really wanna be around people who don't know me yet", says Wanda, "then I know the perfect place, it's a small place but it's private, especially since I know the owner", says Peter, as he leads Wanda to the car and they drive off.

Peter and Wanda stop at a corner place, "it's called Mr. Delmars, it's a sandwich shop, but it's a good place for some good food, trust me", "I do", says Wanda. They exit the car and walk to the sandwich shop, and walk in, "Peter, it's been awhile, how's it been?", Wanda sees a man behind the counter, "it's been good, been very busy", "is this your girlfriend Pete?".

Both Peter and Wanda blush at that statement, "no, she's just a friend", "yeah, I'm m just a friend", they both say. They order and take a seat while waiting for the food, "sorry about that, he's kind of a comedian", "I noticed that Pete, and I like that nickname", says Wanda.

"Only people who've known me for a long time have called me that", "well now I'm gonn call you that, is that ok Pete?", ask Wanda, who smiles, as does Peter, "yeah, I don't mind, I think we're really good friends at this point", he says.

After they get their sandwiches and finish them, they leave and walk around, and talk about their lives before the Avengers, and Peter feels bad about what Wanda's been through, including how she was used as an experiment by Hydra, and feels angered after she was lied to. Wanda on the other hand feels sadness for Peter, both know the loss of loves one's, which makes this friendship something more than what it is.

This day seems great for both of them, this sensation they have for each other, a strange feeling that neither have ever felt before, but they like it, and they likebbeing around each other.

Wanda has never felt like this about another guy because of how Hydra used her and her brother, while Peter was always in his studies or being Spiderman, and the girls always ignored him.

Peter and Wanda find themselves at Central Park and sit at an open bench, "that was funny Pete", "not really, and don't talk about that to anyone else", "no promises", Wanda says, as Peter sighs, making Wanda laugh. Wanda looks at Peter and just can't stop, 'he's really cute,nmuch cuter than the photo Stark showed us', he thinks.

Wanda looks at the kids playing and the beautiful scenery around her, and also to not be caught staring, but she doesn't notice Peter is looking at her, 'Wanda is so beautiful, I just can't help it, just don't freak her out and don't get caught', Peter thinks, as he smiles at the smile Wanda has. "Peter, let's gobtobrhe movies", "sounds good, wanna go now or later?", asks Peter, "later, I'm enjoying this beautiful scenery", says Wanda with a smile, "let's take a picture, to remember this amazing day", "yeah, let me grab my phone".

They take a few pictures and can't help but to pet each other as their phone backgrounds, not that Wanda is gonna find out she's Peter's background, and Peter is hers.
