Chapter 7

There were only 3 weeks left before the semester end. Wu Xie still hasn't decided the place for his intern. His supervisor already reminded him over and over again as he needed to prepare the necessary documents for the application. On top of that, he needed to choose 3 companies in case he got rejected.

Not that he would tho.

The usual silent library was slowly bustling with students coming and out of it with books in their hands. On the third floor, two good-looking males sat at a table in the corner. Xie whined, pouting slightly as he leaned his cheek on the table. He agreed to accompany Xiao Hua that day. Xie Yuchen just sighed quietly as he took a glance at Wu Xie.

'Are you bored?' He flipped to another page.

Wu Xie sat straight up, examining the books and laptop.

'En. Is this all for your final year project?'

'Yeah.'

Wu Xie picked up one of the books, flipping through the pages before putting it down.

'What about you? Are you done?'

Wu Xie tilted his head as he reminisced the third quarter finished model.

'Just a little more then I'll finish. Maybe this week, I can finish it already.'

Xie Yuchen nodded slowly, eyes still on the books and laptop. Wu Xie made a face before crossing his arms. He looked around quietly. He widened his eyes as he saw a familiar figure. Wu Xie turned to his side slightly not to be recognised.

Xie Yuchen frowned slightly. 'What's wrong?'

Just then, a husky voice greeted them.

'Hi, Wu Xie. Hello, Xie Yuchen.'

Xie Yuchen looked up. He was shocked to see the male but he kept a neutral face.

'Oh. Leo. Fancy seeing you here.'

So, it's true when he said he knew Xiao Hua.

Leo smiled before taking a seat next to Wu Xie.

'Yeah. Just dropped by to borrow this book.'

He looked at Wu Xie then smiled.

'You forgot about me already?'

Wu Xie cleared his throat, glancing at Xie Yuchen who's giving him a look.

'Well. No. Yeah. We don't meet so yeah?'

'Since when did you know Wu Xie, Leo?'

'Ahh. That's... Hm.' Leo wrapped his arm around Wu Xie's shoulders before continuing.

'I just bumped against him a few times. So he treated me to coffee as an apology.'

Xie Yuchen frowned slightly. He didn't exactly believe the whole thing. Wu Xie noticed that.

'We... Yeah. You know how clumsy I am. So I just wanna say sorry. That's all. We don't meet up after that.'

Wu Xie's body tensed up when Leo caressed his nape.

'I should've asked for your number, Wu Xie.'

Wu Xie was about to retort but from the corner of his eyes, he could see a couple walking towards them.

'Leo! I can't believe to see you.' Ah Ning exclaimed as she approached them. She leaned down, giving kisses on Leo's cheek as a greeting. Wu Xie glanced at Zhang Kylin, puzzled as the latter did not react when his girlfriend just kissed someone else, then looked at Xiao Hua quickly. Xie Yuchen was not impressed with this little gathering. He wanted to run away but seeing Wu Xie's already trapped between Leo and Zhang Kylin, he could only sigh and try to make up an excuse after finishing the paper.
