Chapter 35: Hold On

"I know where we are going" Sunghoon started

"Where?"

"Let's go back to our neighborhood... I kind of missed my family and they missed you a lot" he said

"Wait what?? But--- But I am not in my best outfit yet... You should have told me earlier" I told him

"It's okay... They like you just the way you are" he said as he grab my hand.

He lead the way and we end up using the bus station so that we will not experience a traffic jam along the way.

Their was no chair left to sit that's why we end up standing. People were looking at us because we were suspicious due to our outfit. It was getting tighter and tighter along the way. A man was standing beside me and was slowly arousing me. Sunghoon noticed because I felt so uncomfortable just by standing here.

"we should switch places... The man beside you seems suspicious" He whispered to me as me slowly switch places.

"Excuse me but... You have a lot of space right there. Can you move a bit because this lady over here is having a hard time" Sunghoon approached the man and since he doesn't want his image to be ruined in public, he did what he was told to do.

The train suddenly stopped and I just blocked others from tripping her over. I really did use my strength so that she will not fall down in other's hands.

"Are you okay?" he asked me

"I'm okay but are you okay?" I asked him

"Don't worry about me... I just want you to feel comfortable" he told me

We waited for others to go out and we sat at the blank seats. He was too overprotective, he hold on to my other thigh so that it will not touch the thigh of the one beside me.

"Seriously?" I asked him

"I am just traumatized because a lot of man has their eyes on you" Sunghoon replied

"Not all man are bad" I told him

"Yahh... A lot of them are just lurking around there somewhere" He said

"Sooo.. You're telling me you are one of them?" I look at him straight in his eyes

"Why would you include me?!" I can imagine him pouting behind his mask because of his eyes

"You told me a lot of them are lurking around" I stated

"Yah! But I am part of that 0.0000000001 of the society... I'm the rare type of man you know" He said as he was seriously looking at me

"Okay.. Okay... I will stop teasi---" I stopped myself from talking because of what we heard

"Yahh!! Daebak!!! Is this true?!!! Park Sunghoon of Enhypen and Lee Jayviee from Phoenix got caught running away from the hospital" she said

As soon as we heard that, we bowed our heads for us not to make eye contact with them.

"Yahh... But why does this picture is more likely to be them?" they kept on chatting in front of me

"hold on a bit longer... We are almost there" he said

"yahh... But why are we bending our heads... It feels like we committed a murder" I told him

"Is it okay to you if we go in public?" he asked

"of course... I would never exchange you for fame" I told him

"then we should not hide anymore?" he said

"sure why not" I told him

We lifted our heads and we were literally taking off our bucket hats but then our stop came.

"better luck next time girls" I told them and we ran as fast as we can

"I thought you want to go in public?" he told me

"not there... I don't want to share your beauty to them" I told him as I was dragging him to the stairs

"But it's getting harder to breath with our facemasks on" he said

"bear with it... We can remove it when we get to the neighborhood" I told him, I was about to remove my hand from his but he hold on to me tightly.

"Let's walk like this... I love holding your hand as I swing it" He said

"I miss this" he said as he was looking at me with his sincere eyes

"What if... I didn't become an idol. Will you still look for me?" I told him

"Me being an idol was because of you" He said

"really?? How come?" I asked him

"hmmm.. Since you went to pursue ballet, I couldn't think much about it. Since I know that going for competitions abroad was depending on the places where the competition will be held" he said

"So there was no chance that I might be competing in Paris" he continued

"The fastest way to find you is to be an idol... So that I can pay for my tickets to go and find you" he told me

"You really mean it?" I asked him

"Yes... I would go beyond every border just to find you" He said and kissed my hand

"Yahh~ you're being cheesy but cute in the same time" I told him

"Shall we go?" I asked him

"Yeah.. And let's drop off to your house. Invite your mom to my house so that they can have a chat with my parents" he said

"Should they really??" I asked him

"It's not like we're getting married" I joked around

"But we are getting married" he said

"stop joking around... It's not funny" I told him

"okay okay..." he said as he removed his facemask and hat

There were only the two of us walking by since some students are not yet dismissed. I also took off my facemask but not the bucket hat since it is very hot outside.

"Let's promise each other" I told him

"promise what?" he asked

"let us promise each other to never ever let go of each other's hand until the end. That we will still hold on to each other even through hard times and good times" I told him

"You don't need to say that because I will really cling on to you until the end of the world" he said

"But still... Let us pinky promise" I told him acting like a child

"okay" he said as he gave me his pinky and stamp it with our thumbs.
