Sapnap, George and Dream; The dream team. They were well known for starting a faction called the Dream SMP. Dream; a character with dirty blond hair and piercing green eyes. Around the server he was known for terrorising the minors of our server; Tommy, Tubbo and Ranboo. Dream was just having a phase which is what the others thought but slowly they watched him morph into the outer shell of the sweet boy they used to know. Sapnap and Dream had a long history, they had found each other at the age nine while in the hell hole they dubbed the Nether.
Sapnap was sitting on the edge of some Netherack, a rough, red block and watching as the lava slowly rose and fell until he heard some frantic steps behind him. He was startled and jumped up and grabbed his sword now having it rest against his hip in a fighting stance. Dream startled as well, people weren't very common in these parts. He also grabbed his sword and held it atop his shoulder.
"Who are you?" Sapnap asked confused, letting his grip stiffen on the sword watching Dream's eyes widened.
"Dream." He said and walked closer to hold his hand out which Sapnap hesitantly took and shook slowly.
"Sapnap." He said and the two began to talk, Dream forgot what he was supposed to be getting and passing off that George was at their shared house and worried sick. Dream invited Sapnap to their house outside the Nether, he watched as Sapnap shuffled awkwardly, he had never been out of the nether and if he left he could never feel the slick heat on his skin. After some convincing Sapnap had come to stay with Dream and George. He had warned the two that he could never go in the nether.
"It doesn't matter if you need anything I'll go get it!" Dream said proudly and puffed his chest out as George giggled softly. Sapnap nodded and thanked Dream profusely. For years it had just been the three of them, until these three foreigners came and build a weird van. Soon after that Dream had become really power hungry, pushing activities with George and Sapnap away to come up with his plan. When George tried to plea for him to stop Dream began to push them back harder. He began to push back traditions the they always did. He wouldn't even come back for Christmas.
Nick remember that it hit George the hardest, he could hear the endless sobs from the thin walled house. He could hear George in the dead of night shift into Dream room and cry and sob for his past lover. They had dated from while but George had to break it off due to become overwhelmed with Dream. At first they used to go on dates weekly now they barely even saw each other in the span of six months.
"Shhhh~" Sapnap cooed from the other side of the door, half listening to George silent cries and pleas for Dream to come back. It was their second Christmas ever not being spent with all three boys. Sure Sapnap hated third wheeling but he would do anything to go back to those days. Soon the everlasting news had come back that Dream had been put into prison and George begged Sapnap to let him speak to the prisoner to help get him out.
"Come on! Sapnap this may be our only shot!" George shouted and hit the wall in agony.
"George we can't, he's not the same! And he never will be!" Sapnap said and watched George break down into a fit of tears. Crying was just now a daily thing for the two and I can't say it only happened once with in those days. Sapnap had finally found the place where he used to take Dream and George. He sat atop off a nearby roof and gazed down at the flower field to see someone special. Nick closed his eyes, sucked into a daze of the past. The reminiscing small of the bitter sweet flower filling his nose as he jumped down. He walked down feeling the moon slight light reflect on his skin. He lay down next to a large plated rock and just sat and starred talking to some one.
"Hey Karl..." He began and starred up into the large moon that his lover had loved.
"I don't know if you can hear me." Nick said and looked up, feeling the glossy feeling flood his eyes." I really miss you, you know? I miss everything about you." He smiled at looked at the moon. "Even your' stupid puns that you made for no reason."
He heard George jump down to see Nick laying near a tombstone and hurried over. George sat down along with Nick and held his hand, both of the feeling the tears flood their senses.
"He was the best wasn't he?" George asked, remembering the soft brown hair that would bob up and down as he walked, Georg used to watch and awe when Karl watched and look and see Nick's eyes flow him until he was out of eyesight.
"He was..." Sapnap began voice cracking as he sobbed softly and felt George grip his hand. He laid against the tombstone setting down some flowers that he had brought for his love. A large bouquet of Chamomile; those small white flowers with the white petal and yellow insides. They were always Karl's favourite, he loved the overly sweet smell that ran along through their house when he had set them in a vase and because he loved the meaning; patience and fidelity. It was simple and Karl had whispered it as his last words as he let put a choked cough and his eyes slowly rolled back and closed.
Sapnap had never read into it. He just thought they sounded fancy and the flowers were pretty but one day he decided to finally find out what Karl had with these flowers. Patience; Patience the capacity to accept problems, or suffering without becoming annoyed or anxious. This finally became important to Sapnap. He had to stay Patient for Karl and wait. It wasn't his time.
Fidelity; faithfulness to a person demonstrated by continuing loyalty and support. He never moved on from Karl he always visited and told him the gossip about the server or what he was making for dinner today. He could never love another. It was like there was a string a certain length that always drew him back to Karl.
He thought that for Karl he would stay faithful to his love and wait how ever long it had to be until his time was right. He remember the first time Karl had had the Chamomiles, he would touch each petal and name something about Sapnap he loved and every time he had managed to name something new.
"Perfect." Sapnap whispered and ran his fingers against the engravings on the stone.
