After Cedric demonstrated his floating spell, Amber bumped Sofia again in the side, and she talked to Cedric. "So I'm hosting a tea party tomorrow, it would be great if you could make the tables and chairs float a little about this high off the ground going no higher than the mid portion of Cedric's stool that had legs on it.

"Wouldn't you know it, I'm afraid I already have plans." Cedric began.

"Huh?!" I said sneakily and firmly. "I thought the Royal Sorcerer was supposed to do whatever the King commands."

"Yes, I do what "The King" commands." Cedric agreed with me. Easier than I thought. This will be dealt with more quickly than I thought it would be.

So I spoke up, "Ah huh, then, perhaps, I should go get Daddy-oh, I mean "The King" and have him command you?!"

"Uh, no, no that won't be necessary, when I said I had plans; it was to make your party as special as can be." Cedric rebuked me at once to stop.

"That's more like it." answered Amber.

"Thank you, Mr. Ceedric." Sofia tells him. "See you at the party!"

"It's Said-ric!" Cedric grumbled. "And you're so not welcome!"
This was directed more towards Amber than Sofia.
Wormwood squawked at him.

"Oh no!" Cedric exclaimed. "The beaker!"

It was still floating around.

"Floaticus downizo!"

The beaker toppled out the window.

"Oooo!" Miranda saw it and avoided it.

"Are you, alright your Highness?" asked Baileywick.

"I'm fine. I'm sure it was just an accident after all, you know how distracted Cedric can get, but it's not his fault, Baileywick. Besides this was too small to hurt anyone let alone a fly.

"Ma'am, I will sweep it up in an instant." Violet said grabbing a broom and a dust pan. Violet had been the one maid to escort Sofia's village friends to where she was during all the party planning.

"Where's Sofia?" asked Miranda.

"In her room, Ma'am." Violet responded. "She didn't look very happy to me, I think she needs her Mother."

"Oh, Merlin's Mushrooms!" Cedric exclaimed in his tower when he heard Sofia's Mother's voice. "She'd kill me if I hit her Mother one of these days! Those two are the only two ladies who have ever been nice to me since they got into the palace, aside from Sofia's brother Prince James. Those three are the only royals who see me as being capable of handling the tasks of a Royal Sorcerer."

..........................................................
Meanwhile in Sofia's room, she was crying while writing down a few negative things down on paper in her journal. She didn't want her party to be huge more than she can handle, and she didn't like Amber bending the rules about Ceedric to force him to do magic. James left her a gift on her reading nook.

"How about a cup of Peppermint tea little sister? I know it's your favorite. It is okay to burn and fall down. I know there's only so much you can handle Sofia. Don't do anything Amber's actions will come back to her. Be patient there will be a silver lining in the clouds tomorrow afternoon, and you won't have to show off your sister's pride anymore. Love your caring Brother Prince James. I felt bad about eating that tray of swan cookies so I made you this."

It was a Swan painted on a stone and attached to a bracelet.

"James, you are so sweet." Sofia sighed. She held the letter to her face. It was as if his encouraging words swept her insecurities right away. Miranda walked into the room, Sofia hadn't even heard her Mother's knocks upon her door since she was consumed with her tears.
