Amber's Pov Flashback.
Alone in my room after dinner, I had trouble sitting in the chair at the table with the others and asked to eat in the kitchen alone. My Father and Mother agreed with me. James gave me a strange look as went I went out of the banquet hall. I ate alone in the kitchen panicked about what the costume had done to me who knew putting on a costume could be such a perilous thing in the first place. But as soon as I finished eating I went to my room, and looked at my mantle place filled with trophies.
"Ah, another prize for me." I stated as I placed it with my other trophies. "Now how do I get this thing off?"
I fiddled with trying to stretch over the giant wings which was impossible.
"Maybe there's a zipper somewhere." I spoke to myself thank goodness my doors were closed temporarily. And I hovered a quick second and gasped. "Did I just fly? Did I fly?"
I have to get to Cedric's tower and workshop quickly. I flew till I got to the stairs but do I prefer being able to touch the ground with my own two feet. I swung the door open this was an emergency. He'd understand the rude behavior this time.
"Cedric!" I shouted in panic. Waking him from his snorting.
"Princess Amber, whatever is the matter?" He inquired.
"It's the costume!" I explained. "It won't come off; it's as if it's real."
"Oh, really?!" asked Cedric giving an almost surprised face. "Come here, child and let me have a look."
"Ow!" I complained as he pinched my wings.
"Goodness me, you're right!" Cedric agreed with me. "I can't imagine whatever went wrong!"
Aside to Wormwood in a very low whisper, "I knew it wouldn't come off; it's all part of my plan, Wormie."
"Cedric, you have to help me, please!" I exclaimed.
"Why certainly right away of course." He said as he flipped through his spell book, "Ah, here's the potion that will take the costume away, it requires 2 dragon eggs, 4 griffin feathers and one gigantic large purple jewel; I have a bunch of feathers and eggs but wherever am I suppose to find a purple jewel?! I know Princess Sofia's amulet."
"I can't." I responded. "She loves that amulet. It means so much to her."
"Well if I don't have that I can't help you, Princess Amber."
"Will she get it back?" I asked quickly.
"Afraid not since I'll have to use it in the potion." said Cedric calmly.
"Maybe I can ask the fairies at RPA if they can do anything about this." I stated.
"I wouldn't do that; because then they'd know you cheated, Princess Amber."
"But how do I get Sofia's amulet? I can't just ask her to give me the amulet." I spoke to him.
"Oh, Amber you're a very smart Princess, and I think you'll be clever enough to find out a way to get that amulet." Cedric said. "When you do I'll be waiting right here, Princess Amber."
He led me to the door. I walked back down the steps. He closed the door behind me. How was I going to get a wink of sleep with this things giant wings on?! Eugh! Boy! What another fine mess I got myself into why didn't I ask my little sister for help like she offered to give me. I already know the answer I am a Proud Princess and should be capable of anything and everything. I loved the idea of knowing I completed projects on my own without any assistance because that would me I was in the spotlight and me alone in the spotlight. I'm not into teamwork and that you will clearly see through the Flashbacks of Sofia The First series itself. I slept with my head and wings on the foot of the bed.
