She was so upset.
Amber was knocking on the door.
"Come on in, sister." She called with a little bit of a sniffle.
"Sofia what is this?"
"A thing that my father gave me a year before he passed," says Sofia.
"It's a beautiful gemstone." complimented Amber. "Just as beautiful as your amulet Sofia, sister what's the matter?"
"You remember that trip about Dads and Daughters we took."
"Of course I do if I recall you got stumped when you were singing with Father at the first verse where everyone tells what happened when they were five with their Dads, wait a minute, this came from your Father your real Father didn't it just a birthday year before he passed, right? And you were 3 three when you got this."
"Yes, I was only three years old, I started wearing it when I was going for four to five years . Mom said it was too fragile and then the chain broke, she had packed it away, my dad drowned sometime time about a week after he celebrated my fourth birthday with me teaching me how to sail a lake boat. And then the next year I had activities at Dunwiddie which I attended with my Mom and my friends' parents."
"I knew it you couldn't follow along because the truth is you had no Father at five years old and the very next year that was when Roland my Father started courting your Mother it took him longer than expected. She is a tough woman to please, sister Sofia."
Sofia giggled.
"The chain may be broken but I think I can attach the gemstone to the RPA goodbye bracelet that our three headmistresses gave you if I just ask the Royal Jeweler." says Amber.
"Would you? I want to wear it again." said Sofia. "I haven't worn it for three and a half years afraid it might bother your Father."
"Oh, don't you worry about it, but why did you look at it now?" inquires Amber.
"Because when I was fighting Vor in the Amulet I heard my Dad speaking to me as if he were inside my heart, Princess Amber. I know I heard his voice encouraging me to embrace my Royal Destiny of Life itself."

Sofia immediately placed it round her left wrist. The past she could never forget she carried on her personal being right now and that made her feel so protected here in Summerset where bad memories were scarring her vision everywhere she looks around.
