Sofia the First Journal Two of the Fifth Day..................................
"Sofia, how was school?" inquires Robin the bird.
"Okay." I sighed. "I went to try out for the Flying Derby Team."
"Oh! That sounds like fun!" Mia spoke she is the bluebird.
"I wished it had been fun," I sighed again.
"Uh oh!" exclaimed the red robin. "What's wrong ?!"
"Everyone said only boys should do it!" I answered seriously annoyed.
"What!" Clover had quite the outburst here. "Robin, have you ever heard anything so ridiculous?"
"I don't know," said the red bird, "You say ridiculous things all the time."
"Hey, I'm serious." Clover replies. "Sofia, if you want to ride those flying fleabags--And I don't know why you would, Makes me dizzy just thinking about it-- But if you really wanna do it, Then I say go for it! There's a first time for everything."
"Huh?" I sighed and smiled responds, "You're right, Clover!"
"Huh, " sighs Robin. "There really is a first time for everything."
At Dinnertime, King Roland II, our Father inquires of James. "How was Flying Derby practice today, James?"
"Great!" He answered.
"And you did actually practice?" questions King Roland further.
"More or less," remarks James.
"I have an announcement." I announced. "I'm going to try out for the team!"
"Sofia, I already told you Princesses don't do that," Amber concludes.
"There's a first time for everything, Amber." I respond back.
"I think it's a wonderful idea," agrees Miranda my mom our Mother perhaps I should have said. Man I have to get use to that."
King Roland II clears his throat and says, "As do I."
"But she doesn't know anything about flying derby," informs James. "She can't even ride a horse."
"Then someone will have to teach her someone like you, James." King Roland replies.
"Me? But--what--" James starts.
"But what?" asked King Roland.
"What will the other Princes say?!"
"They'll be too busy laughing to say anything," chuckles Amber.
"They'll say what a good brother you are, James," answers Miranda.
"And you'll get in some extra practice," King Roland II.
"But she doesn't even have riding clothes." James still resisted.
"She will by morning," Baileywick informs the royal family.
"Thanks, Baileywick." I answered.
"Then, it's settled." King Roland II finished the conversation.
Next morning................
Riding Stables at Royal Prep"Sir Gilliam!" I said it proud and loud and confidently in front of him.
"Huh?" He asked and noticed me. "Oh. It's you again. I'm ready to practice. Can I have a horse please?"
"Well, there's only one horse left," said Sir Gilliam. "And no one wants him."
