When Light was a kid and played with toys, he would always play the role of "God" rather than as individual characters. He would play out biblical stories and punishes his toys for their "sins" by killing them with natural disasters. His mother thought that they should take him to a psychologist, but his father was insistent that Light would grow out of it.
