I didn't know who to call back first, so I picked the most recent person's name and made a call. 

"Jesus, finally, Scar." I heard Topper say into the phone. "I fell asleep, what happened? Is Sarah okay?" I asked him. "She's fine now. Can you come over?" He asked me. "Yeah, of course," I said. "What happened, Top?" I asked him again.

He sighed and lowered his voice as he spoke. "She was supposed to meet up with Wheezie last night." He said. "Yeah, I know. I told her I'd wait up, but I fell asleep. How'd it go?" I asked him. "Not good. It wasn't Wheezie who showed up. It was Rafe." He said. 

I quickly stood up. "What? What'd he do?" I asked him. "He tried to drown her, Scar." He said and I gasped in shock. "Oh my god. I was supposed to wait up for her, but I just had to fucking fall asleep." I said. "Scar?" I heard Sarah say over the phone. 

"Hey. I'm so sorry, Sarah." I said to her. "It's okay, it's not your fault. Calm down, take a shower, and come over. Okay?" She said to me. "Yeah. I'll be there in twenty max." I said. We said our goodbyes and I quickly got in the shower. 

After brushing my teeth, I went into my room and grabbed a pair of white baggy sweatpants, a black graphic hoodie, white air forces, and put them on quickly. Not having time to do my hair, I threw it up in a white hair claw. 

Grabbing my keys, I locked the doors and ran over to my car, starting it and driving over to Topper's place. It only took me a few minutes to get there since he lived fairly close to me. I got out of my car and ran down the dock where Topper told me he and Sarah were. 

I opened the door and saw Sarah sitting on the bed in Topper's boathouse and smiled at her. I sat down on the bed and hugged her tightly. "Thank god, you're okay," I said. Topper then walked in and smiled at us two. "Oh, sorry. I mean thank Top." I said with a laugh. 

I stood up and walked over to him, hugging him tightly. "Thank you, Top. Seriously." I said, now letting go of him. "No worries." He said with a smile. "We're about to head over to John B's. Are you coming?" Sarah asked me. 

I sighed. "Yeah, apparently something happened with JJ last night so I'm gonna head over there in my car. You two gonna be okay?" I asked and they both nodded. "Okay. You get ready and I'll meet you guys there." I said as I hugged Sarah and Top one more time before leaving. 

After getting in my car, I sat there for a moment. I looked at the time after starting my car and saw it was now around 10 A.M. "It's too early for all this shit." I said as I put my car in drive and made my way to The Cut.

It took me around ten minutes to get to John B's and when I did, I parked at the back and saw Top and Sarah approaching in their boat. The group of four who were sitting on the dock looked between my car and Topper's boat. 

I took my keys out of the ignition and got out of the car. I walked down the dock and saw John B sitting down with his friends. "No fuckin' way," I said with a laugh. He looked over at me and stood up. "You know they can't keep me locked up." He said as he hugged me and I hugged him back.

Sarah then saw John B and a huge grin was plastered on her face. John B looked down at his feet when he noticed Topper was driving the boat. "What the hell is she doing with Topper?" Kie asked with confusion. 

"Trust me, she has a good reason," I said. Topper's boat pulled up next to ours and Pope and Kie began to help tie off the boat. Sarah jumped onto the HMS Pogue and hugged John B. "I'm so glad you're okay." John B said as he hugged his girlfriend tightly.

"What happened?" Sarah asked. "Uh, they dropped all the charges." John B said. "What?" Sarah and I said at the same time. The two hugged but it was short-lived. "Listen, Sarah, they're coming after Rafe." John B said.
