"Why'd she do that?" Chan asked, gently holding my hand
"Drunk, abusive, psycho, crazy." I said nonchalantly
I let my hand go free as I pushed the sleeve back down. The bell rang. "If you'll excuse me, I have a customer waiting." I said, gliding myself back to the counter.
"No, we'll handle it from here." Hyunjin said, pushing me to a side. "Do you have any experience?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Do YoU HaVe AnY eXpErIeNcE?" He asked, imitating me.
I rolled my eyes and decided to make myself a hot mocha and sit with the boys while playing with Doongie.
I observed Hyunjin as he struggled to communicate with a customer that was speaking English
(Bold for English)
I strode over to Hyunjin's side.
"Sorry Mam, he doesn't speak good English. How may I help you?" I asked politely.
"Oh no worries, I would like a llama drawn cake with the mango filling as well as a hot chocolate." She said.
I nodded. I proceeded to take the llama drawn cake from the cold room and opened the box to show her and ask if she was pleased with the results. She nodded and fished for a wallet.
"Why does that look like me?" Hyunjin asked uncertainly.
I chuckled and handed the cake and drink to her as she paid.
I looked around the café and my eyes met Minho's. we stared at each other in the eye before I looked away quickly, flustered. I could feel him smirking even if he was all the way at the other end of the café.
The boys left after a while and Yeji came to complete my shift while I went to grab diner at a 24-hour convenience store. I stepped in and chose a cup noodle. I threw it onto the counter.
"Don't throw, you almost ruined my hair!" the boy exclaimed.
"I would've hit your waist, unless you're telling me you're that short." I retorted.
"Park Jimin." I read his name tag.
"I'M NOT SHORT. I'M OF AVERGAE HEIGHT FOR BOYS AND I'M DEFINITELY TALLER THAN YOU!" he exclaimed.
"Okay, relax."
"that'll be 2000 won"
I paid him and went off the pour hot water into the bowl and sitting on a chair, slurping my noodles.
"You know, you can work on that attitude of yours." Jimin said, coming over to me, munching on an egg sandwich.
"Whats there to change. Your height you mean." I snorted, looking at my noodles.
"I'M OFF AVERAGE HEIGHT STOP CALLING ME SHORT!" he said angrily.
"I didn't say you were short. I said it indirectly." I retorted back.
"Don't say I'm short indirectly."
"Okay, you're short. I said I directly. That's alright, right?" I asked.
He whined and started hitting the table like a baby.
I observed his weird behaviour and shook my head, slurping my noodles.
I reached for a coke behind me and opened it. "Hey, you have to pay for it!" Jimin said.
I gave in the money, and he scoffed.
"Live from a 24-hour convenience store, here we have an actual angry koala eating cup noodles and drinking a coke. I may not be smart, but koalas definitely can't eat cup noodles nor drink coke." Jimin reported.
I stared at him with an annoyed expression. "Please stop, or I'll make sure you'll never walk again." I said coldly.
He widened his eyes and nodded instantly. I turned back to my noodles and drank all the soup in it. I chucked the cup/ bowl, and the metal can into a dustbin.
"BYE!! Have a great night!" Jimin shouted after me, but I ignored him and just waved at him without looking at him.
(Jimin's POV)
Aish, are all girls that cold?
I went to clean the table because apparently, she spilled a droplet of soup on it.
But then a grey wallet with adorable animal stickers on it caught my eye.
Ahhh, that koala left her wallet here, got it. I took it with me and placed it inside my bag. I wasn't stealing. I'm just keeping it till she comes back. I opened the wallet and saw her id card.
"Jeon Sena," I read out loud.
