Ranpoe- Sleeping

What's even better than waking up to find a lot of sweets? It's waking up to find a sleeping Poe! What a rare sight!

If you ask Ranpo, sleeping Poe was way different from normal Poe, this one was more calm and relaxed and honest. Unlike his usual self who was always tense and frantic and sometimes hides his feelings, but oh no this Poe was so BOLD:>. Ranpo would sometimes hear the other tell stories in his sleep and call people who can't write good stories losers, this just made him giggle. Other nights he would pull Ranpo closer to him and call him nicknames and tell him he loves him, normal Poe would be too shy to say it out loud. So~ this was fine with Ranpo. Now the emerald-eyed detective was sitting down on their king-sized bed with a sleeping Poe right beside him, hugging his waist.

Ranpo was in the middle of reading one of Poe's newest books, it wasn't really a mystery book but a short narrative poem, nonetheless the small detective loved reading them. Carefully chosen words with good descriptions, an amazing plot, outstanding characters, Ranpo just loves them. "I...never knew I would...fall in love... with my... rival..." Poe quietly suddenly confessed, causing Ranpo move the book away, "What did you just say just now?" he asked, since it was barely a whisper, "I...love you Ranpo..." Ranpo blushed, "I love you too!" he grinned before watching the taller continue to sleep. Ranpo sighed before putting the book away, by now it was around 1 am which meant that Poe had been sleeping for 6 hours straight since 7 pm, and for some strange reason the other was still up. Why? Well because a certain brunette didn't want to lose to him in chess! How mean! Either way, Ranpo arrived at their house an hour ago to find it all clean and silent, creeped him out honestly.

Well now the said detective could feel his eyes growing heavy as he shook Poe up so he could get comfortable. "Mm? Ah! R-ranpo-san! Sorry! Was I disturbing you?!" Poe immediately sat up, his face flushed red, "Oh no no no! Sorry for waking you up I just wanted to lie down properly!" Ranpo explained before pulling Poe down to cuddle, "Ah ok..." the other felt himself relax. He soon watched as Ranpo shifted his body closer to Poe's chest before wrapping Poe's arms around his delicate body, "Goodnight Poe~!" he cooed, Poe smiled, "Goodnight to you too~"

At like- 4 am

Ranpo heard some occasional mumbling and smirked, forcing his emerald eyes open and turning on his ears he listened rather attentively, making sure not to cause any noise which could awaken his boyfriend. "I don't... understand why... Ranpo-san loves me... I mean, everyone loves him... but... he chose me? I mean... Ranpo-san deserves better than someone like me..." Ranpo raised an eyebrow, was his boyfriend insecure? "What do you think Karl?" Ranpo whirled around to find his own lover awake, talking to Karl while sitting up right. "Poe?" he said, voice still hoarse from waking up. Poe jumped at the voice and turned his head to find Ranpo sitting up as well in the angel seat. "Uh... R-ranpo-san did I wake you?" he said anxiously, "Poe... are you questioning my love for you?" Ranpo's green eyes turned serious, he wasn't one bit joking around. "I mean... yeah..." Poe confessed looking away, averting his amethyst eyes to his lover's emerald ones. Ranpo shifted closer and pressed their lips together, Poe's eyes widened before he took control and cupped Ranpo's face as the other wrapped his arms around the his neck to deepen the kiss. They both pulled away to gasp for air. Panting Ranpo frowned, "Never think my love for you isn't genuine," Poe laughed a little before smiling, "Thank You Ranpo-san..."

"For listening to me every night I speak nonsense."
