"So the fireworks are in 5 minutes right?" Mori checked his watch again as he, Fukuzawa, the agency and the mafia were on top of the sound asleep city of Yokohama on the 31st of December at exactly 11:55pm.
Chuuya was seated on Dazai's lap as the ginger played with one of Dazai's fingers while Dazai ran his fingers through Chuuya's beautiful ginger hair. "I love you Dazai...always remember that alright?" Chuuya explained and Dazai nodded as he relaxed himself against his most prized possession.
Akutagawa held Atsushi's hand as he struggled to stand still as the wind blew against them. Atsushi only gripped Akutagawa's hand tighter before giving his husband a reassuring smile that was filled with genuine care and love, that only Atsushi could ever reward.
Kyouka sat with Koyo and Yosano who were drinking tea, the young girl wanted to celebrate New Year with someone she has lived her life with. She observed everything the two queens did while also walking away sometimes to talk with Kenji.
Ranpo was sulking in the corner as Poe had to leave right after Christmas to America with the Guild. He wanted to stay in Japan of course, but things just got out of control no matter how much you didn't want them to.
Kunikida invited Katai with him to spend some time with his lover, but to also get back at Ranpo, reminding him that he was lonely hah. Although to him this was somewhat unideal and childish, he thought about Katai's reminder that it was alright to sometimes be childish.
Mori and Fukuzawa watched Elise play with Q while Mori checked his watch: 11:59. "Hun. It's time," he poked his husband's shoulder and Fukuzawa nodded, extending his hand and Mori gladly took it.
The countdown started and as the last 10 seconds ended each and every couple shared a kiss, while Kyouka and Kenji just looked away...
