"Hey Oak!"

She turned her head and saw the face that matched the energy she was feeling.
"Hey Sam." She said with a smile and turned her whole body so that she was facing him.  The girl felt so much calmer when he was around and she wasn't sure why.

"You feeling okay? I hope that Silva doesn't want to murder me for talking to you." Sam had a nervous expression on his face while saying this. The thoughts between the two was now much more calmer and Oakley wasn't feeling the same way that she was originally.

"Oh don't worry about Silva. He's not that mean or scary I promise. And that's coming from someone who has lived with him for basically her entire life." For once in a long time she was smiling, and the source was coming from someone other than her brother.

"I'll have to take your word for it then. I'm glad that I'm a fairy and not a specialist because I don't think that I would be able to handle not only him but also the pressure." The boy said and scratched the back of his neck with a nervous smile.

"Yeah I wish I could be like that. But I am the first fairy specialist so I have double the stress and nerves and I honestly don't know if I am going to make it through the semester." She started talking faster and faster and stopped making eye contact.

Talking and thinking about her classes for tomorrow were starting to worry her and now her stress and anxiety was back as well as not being able to control her powers. Sam looked towards Oakley but was unsure of what to do.

"Oakley your powers are based off your emotions remember. The stronger the emotions means the harder the powers are to control. Let's head outside and get you some fresh air." Sam said and grabbed the girl gently.

She took a deep breathe and followed him outside away from the crowds and away from the negativity. She looked towards her hands and noticed the slight ice particles forming from them.

"We need to talk about something other than my powers for once, please?" She looked up to Sam from the ground and he saw the pleading look on her face.
"Tell me about yours? I don't know what it is yet." She tried to smile at him and they started walking again after a slight nod from the boy.

"My power is boring." He started with and she gave him a quizzical look before he continued. I quite literally can bore through any natural substances." He explained and Oakley nodded her head along with what he was saying.

"How did you and Terra meet?" Sam asked Oakley. They finished walking once they made it too a little garden full of flowers and a bench. The two teens sat down at the bench and faced each other.

"It was a few years ago when I was 11. I was stood at the gate to the school and holding Silvas hand because I had no idea where we were and what we were doing. Sky didn't come with us because he was busy hanging out with Stella."

She had a smile talking about her old memories with her friends and family.
"That day it was almost as if I was stuck to Silvas side with super glue because I would not let go of his hand." She laughed thinking about it and looked up from the ground to see Sam looking at her intently. He was really listening to what she was saying.

She took a break and then continued.
"That was until your dad walked in and had a girl, the same age as me basically stuck to his side as well. When we saw each other instead of being so friendly we just stood behind the both of them and would occasionally peek our heads out."

"Eventually we got told that we had to let the adults talk and so we got kicked out of the office and had to find something else to do. It took a while but we started talking to each other and after that became inseparable when the both of us came to the school."

Sam didn't take his eyes off the girl the entire time she was talking. He thought that if he did look away from her she would stop talking or she would disappear. He was genuinely listening to what she was talking about because she seemed so passionate about it.

"Terra is such an amazing friend and i've known her for so long yet she didn't tell me that she had a brother. I wonder why." She asked and managed to look up at the star-lit sky. It looked so beautiful but brought her gaze back towards the boy in front of her.

The two teenagers just spent the rest of their night sitting on that bench talking about their families, friends, classes and anything else that they could think about. For once she wasn't full of anxiety or stress because it was just them and they were both so calm that nothing could interrupt them.

Sorry for the short chapter! Also if none of it makes sense that's because I wrote the entire thing in my free periods at school and was quite distracted by a lot of things. I wanted to update though and thought I should do this so I hope you enjoy!
