Our Fates

Episode 2. Part 9

Oakley ran and met up with Terra and Musa on the way to the Barrier. 
"Did you get everything ready?" She asked and terra held out a tiny vial full of what must have been Zanbaq. 

"Let's go, the others are already at the barrier." Oakley mentioned and the three started walking over the hills towards the barrier where they would be meeting their friends. 
When they arrived, they saw Aisha as well as Bloom and Stella, except they seemed to be arguing. 

"Well, I'm glad to see that everyone's calm." Musa said once the three approached the barrier.
"Whatever. Do we even know where the barn is from here?" Stella asked and started to walk though the barrier.

As soon as they stepped through that force-field, they weren't safe from anything. 
"It's north from here." Terra said and started to lead the way. The forest was dark and seemed gloomy but none of the girls wanted to mention anything because it would have made them all feel so much worse.

 "There it is." Terra pointed the barn that was at the bottom of the small hill that they were standing on. The 6 girls walked down the hill and stopped in front of the barn. Stella, Aisha and Bloom all went straight to the door but Musa and Oakley just looked at each other.

"Musa, something's off about this place." Oakley said and looked worried. Musa agreed but the figured that they should go over there and see what was going on. Terra walked behind the two girls because she didn't know where they were going or what they could feel. 

"Musa, Oakley?" Terra questioned but the two girls just told her to follow them. 
"Guys, are you okay?" Terra got closer to the two and the three girls slowed their pace down.
"I'm not sure. Something just doesn't feel right." Musa stated and just looked towards her. 

"What is it though?" Oakley asked and when she turned to look at here friends, her head was full of screams and both her and Musa were almost on the ground because of it. 
"It hurts!" Musa yelled and she couldn't control her powers.

Oakley looked up from the ground and when she did, she finally noticed where the screams were coming from. Musa and Terra seen it to because everything went quiet. 
"Guys?!" Terra yelled out to the other three girls, none of them taking their eyes off of what was in front of them. 

"We've got a problem!" Terra yelled a little laters seeing as the girls weren't leaving the barn yet. Stella and Aisha ran out to see what was going on but Bloom was nowhere in sight. In front of the five girls, was all of the queens guards and army, lying on the ground, dead.

"Did this happen how I think it happened?" Oakley asked and waited for an answer. Terra nodded her head and replied to her friend. 
"The burned one." None of the girls were taking their eyes off the sight in front of them.

"It's still here somewhere." Stella was worried. She didn't know if she was ready to battle a burned one and she was worried that they wouldn't be able to get her ring back.
"Oh god!" Oakley yelled and started running towards one of the men laying on the ground. 

"Uncle Silva!" She kneeled down in front of the man that she grew up with and she started crying. 
"Stella, Musa and I will look after Oak and Silva. You and Aisha go find Bloom." Terra stated and with that the girls split off to do what they were told to. 

"Oak, I understand this is hard for you but you can't get to close to him." Musa quickly grabbed Oakley's arm to pull her away from Silva while Terra tried to get him to understand. 
"I know who you are! Please get back." He said and pulled his sword out towards the three girls. 

This sight was hard for all of the girls but was definitely going to scar Oakley. 
"The Burned ones cut you, and you're infected. But we are gonna help you."  Terra said and Silva wasn't convinced so she had to use her powers to make sure he stayed contained. 

The girls walked closer to him but Oakley stayed at a safe distance, she didn't know if she could do this. 
"Ok. I've got Zanbaq for you." Terra was still trying to calm him down.  
"It'll calm the infection and we can take you back to school." 

"Oakley can you come here and hold his head please?" Terra looked at her friend and she knew it was a lot to ask for but Oakley agreed and walked closer. Once she reached Silva, she kneeled down and held his had back as well as holding his hand to make her feel better about everything. 

"Can you pour this into his mouth while I help Oakley with his head? Musa?" When Terra looked at Musa, she noticed how her eyes were flickering purple. 
"He's scared. I'm not. Focus on my emotions instead." Musa took the vial while focusing on Terra's emotions and feelings. 

Once they poured it into his mouth, the three girls noticed his eyes go back to normal and Oakley started to calm down as well as Silva. Oakley wrapped her arms around his neck, knowing that he was feeling better and himself.
"Cmon we have to get him back to the school now. None of the others are breathing." Musa looked around seeing if she could feel anything but it was silent.

Musa and Terra told Oakley that they would carry Silva because they knew how much he meant to her and how much this was going to affect her. Instead Oakley just walked behind the three slowly, thinking about anything to try and get her mind off this situation. 

After a while they reached the school and they walked straight into the main hall where everyone was.
Stella, Sky, Brandon and Riven were all on the balcony talking about where all the girls went and what they were doing when the others brought Silva inside.

"Someone, I need a med kit from the Bastion!" Terra yelled and people started to gather, Sky and the other finally made it downstairs to see what was going on.
"We'll go get Dowling." Brandon said and him and Riven ran off to find the headmistress.

 "Dane, can you help us carry him to the greenhouse?" Terra asked once she saw her other friend in front of her and he agreed straight away. 
"Your nearly there Mr. Silva." Terra said and was getting as many people help her as possible.

Oakley kind of just stood at the back of the group, she had Silva's blood on her clothes and her hands. She didn't walk any further, instead she stood there and felt two arms grab her to turn her around. 

Before she did, Oakley noticed Sam look at her with worry while Terra was telling him to do something.  Oakley just turned around to face the person and was met with a hug from her brother. 

She wrapped her arms around her brother and leant into his embrace. Oakley had just stopped crying before they reached the school and now she was at it again. 
"C'mon Oak." Sky said and made sure to keep his sister within his reach while they walked towards the greenhouse.

"You girls did amazing, you saved his life." Professor Harvey said to Oakley and Terra while they were standing in the greenhouse waiting for answers.
"Professor. How bad is it? Can you help him?" Sky was annoyed that he couldn't do anything about what happened with Silva. 

"Sky, I'll be fine. Just let professor Harvey do his work." Silva said while trying not to react to the Zanbaq that was being poured onto his injuries. Just then the headmistress walked in saying that they should have moved it sooner and had more soldiers.

"Guys could we please have the room?" Silva asked the three teenagers that were there. Sky and Terra started walking away but Oakley wasn't planning on leaving Silvas side any time soon. She was sat on the floor next to the seat he was on and leaning against his good arm, almost asleep.

"It's just us Saul." Professor Harvey said, ignoring Oakley who was sat on the ground near them. 
"Silva I don't want her hearing this. It's best if she doesn't." Dowling said and looked over at the poor girl.

"She's daydreaming, almost sleeping. She can't hear a thing." He made sure that she was okay and started talking about what happened.
