Our Fates

Episode 3. Part 5.

"Alright, so tell me. What is going on between you and Sam." Sky and his sister were walking net to each other on their way to Sky's dorm room. 
"I- uhh- look, if I knew I would tell you. But even I'm confused at this point." Oakley tried to explain but it was no use. 

"I think that I like him but I'm really not sure that he likes me back." The girl then said after a slight pause. Her brother was just amused that she had a crush.
"Well he's a pretty good guy. He's in some of my classes and we are friends, I guess. Perks of growing up with someone your own age at the school." 

Oakley just kind of nodded her head and then remembered what happened earlier that day. 
"He kissed me. Asked me if I wanted to and I said yes so he kissed me." She just blurted out. Sky stopped in his tracks and looked down at his sister.

"Oak, if he kissed you then he definitely likes you back. I think you've got yourself a boyfriend." He smirked at her in a joking way, and the siblings began to walk again in silence. Oakley started thinking about what Sky said to her. 'You've got yourself a boyfriend.' Just kept playing in her head.

Were her and Sam a proper couple? Were they actually in a relationship? Yes they may have joked about it earlier but was that being serious? She would just have to ask him about it at the party as he was sure to be there with his friends. 

She snapped out of her thoughts and noticed that they were now at Sky's dorm room. He opened the door and inside sat Riven, pouring some vodka into a flask, Brandon seemed to be in the bathroom and Stella was sat in front of a mirror doing her makeup. 

The siblings walked in and quickly, Oakley walked over to Sky's bed and sat on it. 
"I'll get ready for the party later. Not in the mood right now." Oak said to her brother after he just looked at her to get ready.

"Sorry for being here. Four first years getting ready for their first party is a nightmare inside a nightmare. Not including you Oak." Stells smiled at the girl and she smiled back, before Stella turned to look back in her mirror. 

"Fun fact, if everyone around you is a nightmare, it's not them." Riven joked and Stella did not look amused. 
"You're already drinking?" Sky asked as he sat next to his sister after freshening up a little bit and just looked at his best mate.

"Yeah well, she's been here for an hour, so I've been drinking for an hour." Riven replied and took another swig from his flask. 
"Could you take it easy this year? Last year you vomited in no less then five places." Sky had to remind his friend while putting his shoes on. 

"Well, looks like the benchmarks been set." Riven chuckled. 
"At least pour us one."
Stell asked him while finishing off her makeup.

"I'm not drinking." Sky said to everyone and they just stared at him.
"Wait, everyone's gonna be drinking?" Oakley looked between the four other people and Rivens smirk grew.

"YE-"
He tried to yell but Sky grabbed her shoulders and got her to look at him. 
"NO! And you won't be either. I am not having you drunk, or have something bad happen to you." 

Oakley sighed and looked over to the direction where Stella and Riven were sitting who both winked and assured her that she would have something to drink. 
"Look I talked to Kat." Stella started talking to Sky. 

"Marco is on the case for the burned one. Best fairy ever is hunting that thing down-" She started but Sky looked at her to stop.
"I don't care who is on it. I'm not drinking, especially not with Oakley. I don't want to set a bad impression on her." He stated.

"Oh please. You were nearly as bad as me last year. Let the girl have a little fun dude." Brandon came out of nowhere and scared the hell out of the poor first year girl. 
"Plus, I'm, sure if one of us or maybe even Mr Sam Harvey was with her, she would be fine." 

At the mention of Sams name, Oakley went a deep shade of red and hid her face in her brothers pillows. 
"Does everyone know about my personal life?!" She yelled, moving her head away from the pillow for a split second to speak and then immediately returned it. 

"They kissed." Sky whisper-yelled to his friends and smirked at them.
"Sky! That's it, I'm leaving now. I'll see you all in hell!" She yelled as she slammed the dorm door behind her. 

She walked towards the opposite end of the building for the fairy dorms and she was still bright red by the time she walked into her dorm. Her friends looked at her confused. 
"What the hell happened to you? We haven't seen you sine lunch!" Musa yelled out.

"Stuff with Silva came up okay. And then I got trapped in a dorm with an overprotective brother who won't let me drink tonight. Plus I have to be guarded by one of them at all costs. I'm not having the best day. Now, someone please help me with what to wear to this party?" 

Oakley blurted everything out at once and everyone in the room just stared at her until they all burst out laughing at the last part.
"C'mon, let's see what clothes you have in your room for a party." Bloom said and guided Oakley to her own room with the other three girls not very far behind. 

The four girls helped their friend get ready and soon enough they were all on their way to the party. As they showed up, Oakley looked around and saw everyone with either, a can or a botte in hand. 

"Please tell me you guys are drinking tonight?" She asked them and they were iffy about it.
Instead the five girls walked into the main room and that was where everything was happening.
Oakley zoned out while trying to find people but noticed Aisha ask her something.

"We're getting a beer do you want one?" Oakley nodded her head and stayed with Terra and Musa. 
"Looking for somebody specific?" Musa asked Terra as she was looking around with a container in her hand. 

"NO, just looking for somewhere to put these down." She said and put the container down. Oakley opened it and went to take a bite of one of the brownies but smelt it first.
"Terra are these?" She asked and looked at her friend who seemed glad somebody noticed.

"Yeah! I can be a cool nerd." She said and all of a sudden Oakley put the brownie down and felt a presence behind her. 
"Look who showed her face! With mum's Tupperware, no less." Musa just looked at Oakley as soon as she heard his voice and Oakley just turned to look at him in a non suspicious way. 
"What do you want Sam?" Terra was annoyed at her brother.

"I'm getting a drink, just relax." He said and looked at the two mind fairies. His eyes widened as her saw Oakley but had to play it off. 
"It's Musa right?" He asked and she nodded her head. Sam then looked at Oakley. 

"And you're Oakley. I don't think we were actually introduced to each other the first time we met. Hi, I'm Sam." He said and held his hand out for a handshake. Both Oakley and Musa nearly burst out laughing at the gesture but need to play it cool. 

Oakley shook his hand and just looked at him, both of them trying to hide a smile. 
"What reeks?" Sam turned again and looked at his sister.
"They're for the party not me." Terra defended herself.
