Third Person POV

"Y-you are in a relationship?"

"It's not what it looks like, Megan-

"It's exactly what it looks like." Lisa cuts him off.

"We've been together for a year now and this is how you betray me?!" She shouts louder as Kai tried to console Megan.

"Just listen-

"No, I have to leave." Megan grabbed her belongings and left the room as fast as she could.

Getting into her car, she started it up and made sure to put on her seatbelt. Right before she was going to drive away, Kai comes out and tries to stop her.

"Please, stay. I will explain everything," He pleads and Megan shakes her head in disappointment.

"You told me, you were single." She finally replies after a moment of silence.

Then loud commotion was heard causing them to look over and see Lisa trying to walk over to them but security was holding her back. Kai quickly opens the door and gets into my car.

"What are you doing-

"Just drive, I will explain everything."

Not another thought passed by before Megan drove away into the streets.

"Kai, what the hell is going on?" Megan's eyes doesn't lock with Kai's as she talked. "First, you say you're single then your girlfriend comes out of nowhere-

"She's not my girlfriend." Kai says quickly causing Megan to glance at him.

When they come to a red light, she gives Kai her full attention before he continued on.

"Lisa and I dated for a year. Everything was going well until I got a deal to be in a tv show that required me to live in Chicago for awhile. She was pissed that I had to move from South Korea to be here but I tried to convince her that it wasn't going to be bad. Then-

He looks at Megan with sad eyes. "She cheated on me while I was away. It's a long story about how I found out but that's why we broke up. Of course, when I told her we couldn't be together she went psycho and started crazy rumors about me online. She would threaten me through text messages and give the media a completely different story. Saying how I was the one who cheated and dated multiple women. When I've only been in one relationship my entire life."

Once Kai was done talking, Megan felt all types of emotions flow through her. She didn't know if she should give this relationship with Kai time or just breaks things off with him. But she knew if she were to leave to him, he would be so heartbroken.

"Kai, I really like you. And I'm sorry about what happened with Lisa. You deserve so much better than that and I'm willing to give that to you. But from now on you can't keep anything from me. You need to tell the truth even if you think it will hurt me." Her heartwarming words causes Kai to soften up and turn to face her in his seat.

"Megan, I really like you too. I want this to work so therefore I will keep this promise to always tell the truth."

"You promise?" Megan faces him as well.

He takes her hand away from the steering wheel and brings it to his lips. "I promise."  Megan smiles and Kai gets lost in her features for a second.

"Okay, now we got that out of the way. What should we do about Lisa? I mean she is still in your life and causing a huge problem for your image." She raises her eyebrows.

Kai hums before answering her question. "Well, for starters. Let's go get some lunch because I'm hungry," They both chuckle before locking eyes.

"Then we can figure out how to solve this drama."
