"What do you mean you can't come tonight!"

"I just can't. I already made plans and plus you told me too late."

"Mia, for a date with me? You shouldn't have to put YOUR plans over ours." I crossed my arms.

"Why?" Mia rolled her eyes.

"Because I am your boyfriend!"

It was silent between us for a moment while we stared at each other then Mia scoffed and walked to the front door of our house.

"I am going out with my friends tonight. You should go out by yourself," She says before walking out the door and sat down on the couch in the living room.

I can't believe she would do this? For five years we've been dating and she can't even go out on a Friday night with me. I planned this date for awhile since I've been so busy at the studio working as a music producer. I thought Mia would see but I guess she didn't. I laid back on the couch, wiping away my tears. Lately, she's been so distant with me and I don't know why.

My phone vibrates and I take it out from my front pocket. I looked at the notification bar and saw that my friend, Jay Park texted me.

At least it's good to know someone is here for me. I got up from the couch and looked at myself in the mirror checking out my outfit. I was wearing a black leather jacket with black jeans and a white shirt.

If I can't go out with Mia then I will just go out by myself. I grabbed the keys and walked out of my house. Once I got inside my car, I started it and buckled my seatbelt before driving out of the driveway.

Where should I go? I thought to myself when stopping at a red light then my stomach started to grumble and I knew where to go.

When I made it to the cafe, I parked my car and got out with a smile on my face. I was hoping to get my favorite meal, waffles with a cup of tasty coffee. I opened the door for a couple that was walking out of the restaurant and they nodded their heads at me with a smile.
