Part 9

Your support is chefs' kiss. <3

I'm using our boy Ekko in this chapter. The relationship between him and Jinx will stay as true to the series as possible. 

I was casually working at the shop. "Please can you fix it? I paid a fortune on it" a guy said as I looked at his motorcycle that hovers. "what the fuck did you do with it? it's totally busted!"  said as I examine the wrecked machine. "that's none of your god damn business. Just fix it as best as you can" I gave him a dirty look. "it's gonna cost" I said coldly "how much?" he asked, "a lot" was all I said as I go back to looking at the machine. "shit. Ok doesn't matter how much." "okay" I said as I give my hand out for him to shake it. He hesitates but shakes it and leaves. 

I immediately start to work on it. I was in my old navy green pants with my old black martins that were covered in car grease, dust and dirt. I was in my top that was also covered in grease and dirt from working so much on machines. The music was blasting through the workshop with me dancing and humming to it. 

"hmm...hmmm....my girl look like Wednesday Addams. Eyes go black when she hm hmhm" I hum as I take the metal plate off of the motorcycle. I take it to my work table that was to the side and start to hammer the metal down to its right shape. The sweat was dripping from my forehead and my neck. My arms started to hurt after some time of using my full force. I take the plate and move it to the light. I got back to the motorcycle to see its engine. 

" hmm the kinda shouldn't, that mean you should.....dirty little animals" I was slowly unscrewing the screws when the voice tang through the workshop. 

"CUTIE PIEEE IM HEREEE!!" Jinx yelled her hands up in the air as she makes an entrance. "I'm over here Jinx" I said as I wave my screwdriver to get her attention. She hops over to me and leans over the motor to look down at me. "watcha doing?" she chirps checking me up and down and biting her lip like she usually does. "screwing" I said jokingly and she laughs. "wanna go shoot something later?" "umm maybe I need to work a bit more on this thing. It's totally busted but the guy wants it fixed." she tilts her head to one side looking down at me while leaning on the seat of the bike. I pull on the cable sticking from the engine but it won't budge. As I was struggling Jinx suddenly ran her finger down my biceps. "what are you doing?" I ask looking up at her "nothinggg you just look sexy when you are working" she said her eyes almost having a heart shape as she smiles while biting her lip. I blush at her comment and shrug her off. "ouu fuck off" I said in embarrassment as she laughs. "hehe I'm gonna grab something to eat" she says as she walks towards the door that lead to the kitchen. I look at her as she sways her hips, the gun that hung from her back moving with her. I let out a breath that I didn't realize I was holding. 

"hello? can i get some help over here?" another voice rang through the workshop. It was a male voice that was all too familiar. I peek over to see who it was and see Ekko standing at the entrance one hand on his hip as he smiles over at me. "Oh my god?! Ekko?! is that you?!" I yell in surprise as I drop the screwdriver and run over to him. I jump into a hug and he swings us around. "it's been so long! how have you been?" I said as I move away from the hug. "I am great. I had done lots of stuff in the past two years. Now that finally, everything is a bit calmer I came to visit." I cross my arms and lean on one hip. He gives me a soft smile. He was taller than the last time I saw him. "so I'm guessing the hideout is doing pretty well?" "you bet it is! but you know. It's the undercity. It's still hard" "yeah I get that" 

"So how have you been? I see the shop is doing well. Guess you can do without me after all" he said all cocky rubbing his nose. I punch him in the arm. "it's going well. There is always something to do" I said pointing my thumb at me. He laughs. "would you like to stay for a drink?" I ask "nahh I just came to say hi. We haven't seen each other in two years"
