Jinx x reader

Part 27

> third POV < 

Jinx walks into her workroom where she throws her gun angrily at her table. She lets out a frustrated grunt as she kicks some of the bombs on the floor into the fall below. She just got from another job that Silco gave her and this time too she did everything right. With a few mishaps of course but nothing unusual for her. But he still didn't let her see y/n. She missed her deeply. The aching in her chest was unbearable and the loud voices didn't help her at all. 

She wondered what y/n was doing? did she miss her as much as Jinx missed her? or was she fine with this separation?  glad even? she didn't know. And the wonder was eating her alive. She had nothing but y/n on her mind all day. Everything she did right now was for her. But Silco was keeping her on a leash and so did Y/n dad. How far was Silco willing to go to separate them? was he capable of hurting y/n just to control Jinx? 

She was scared for y/n safety but at the same time, she knew that I Silco hurt y/n he would lose her. But he was her caretaker after also there was that. She was dependent on him, attached emotionally. But maybe she could scare him a little. Just a bit, threatening him that if he separates them forever she would run away forever. 

"that's a bad idea and you know it" Mylo said in her ear. "But you want to be together with y/n right?" Vi whispered. Jinx flinched at Vis voice. She hadn't heard it for a while. "You think I should do it? Runaway?" Jinx asked 'Vi' who was 'behind her' but not really. "You have to fight for what you want" she said back but Clogger jumped in. "You'll mess it up and y/n will get hurt" Jinx frantically turned around. "I WON'T! i-ill protect her" her voice was breaking as her vision became blurred "yeah we all know how that goes" Mylo laughed at her and Jinx bumped her head with her hand trying to make him go away. He did for a moment and she could think clearly. She turned around once again catching herself in the mirror. 

"Maybe just for a few day, we can escape. Just a few" "Do it"  Vi cheered her on, pressuring her. Or more specifically Jinx was pushing herself to do the unthinkable. Runaway from the person who took her in, took care of her and cares for her deeply. All that only to be with the person she adores deeply. Jinx came up with a plan and sneaks out to meet with y/n. 

It was late in the evening and Jinx made her way to the spot she and y/n usually met up for a few minutes. She waited and waited. And finally, she heard someone climbing up. "Blue give me a hand" y/n announced her appearance and Jinx basically ran to the edge of the building pulling her up. "Damn a need to work on my parkour skills" she said dusting herself off. But was cut off when Jinx jumped to hug her. Jinx snuggled into the warm skin of y/n neck. Y/n wrapped her arms around Jinx comforting her "hey is everything ok?" Jinx grip tightened "yeah I just missed you" y/n melted at her words. "Missed you too" and they hugged it out for a bit. But then Jinx broke the hug to tell her the plan. 

"I have a plan sugar. We should run--" "I'm going to stop you right there" y/n said putting her hand up at which Jinx frowned confused. "You and I know that is a terrible idea. Silco will come looking for us and can't do that to my father. It would break him" Jinx took Y/n hand that was in front of her face "that the catch toots. We won't runaway completely. Just like a warning. For a few days up to a week. Plus won't it be exciting?!" the was suddenly a spark in Jinx eyes. Excitement. "I-im not so sure. Jinx what if it goes terribly wrong?" "If you are scared of Silco I will protect you. He won't hurt me. And as I said it will be a warning. If they don't let us be together we run away completely. But we won't really. I just know that they will crumble. Isn't it a great plan!!?" Jinx was all excited jumping up and down a bit as she held y/n hand tight. But y/n was still unsure. And Jinx could see that making her smile drop a bit.
