Jinx x reader

Part 23

I just want to remind you guys that this fanfic takes place before the series. 

> Y/n pov <

"dad I'm fine really. I can take a few punches" I said as dad pushes me back on the bed. He didn't say anything he just looked angry. "dad?" I asked him unsure. He is gonna lecture me "Y/n you got yourself in a very dangerous situation this time. I know it is not your fault, but you going out with Jinx put you in that situation" he said with a stern voice. I just looked down at my hands. "Please don't blame Jinx for this" I try to defend her "then who am I supposed to blame it on? Finn tried to use you as bait FOR Jinx. And he succeeded. If I wasn't there you could have gotten yourself killed. If this happens next time you won't be as lucky" his tone was so cold and angry. He wasn't yelling but him feeling disappointed made me tear up a bit. 

"I hear you went to the topside" my heart dropped to my stomach. I gasp slightly as the heavy feeling in my chest took over. "Who told-" "it doesn't matter who told me. What matters is that you went to the topside when you knew I forbade you to go there. I let you go out with Jinx because I trusted you." I didn't have to look at his face to know that it was that of disappointment. "Jinx and I just wanted to have some fun. We didn't do anything!" he tilts his head up as he looks down on me "except start a fight am I right? I'm guessing it was Jinx's idea for you to go there. I know you wouldn't go there on your own". The tears were about to spill from my eyes. "Jinx is bad influence on you. She is also extremely dangerous and so is her boss. I was unsure from the beginning about letting you be with Jinx but I assumed you were old enough to know what was right." a tear dropped from the corner of my eyes. I was holding my breath to not let more tears spill and to not sniffle. I kept looking at my hands playing with my nails to distract myself but it wasn't working. I disappointed my father and I felt terrible. He then walks to the door and before he leaves he says "tomorrow I have a meeting with Silco. There are a few things I need to discuss with him. I think it is important for you to hear what we will discuss" and with that, he closed the door harshly. 

I let out a breath and look up to the ceiling as I let the tear trickle down my face. I let out deep shaky breaths. This is not going to be good. I felt it in my stomach. I just hope Jinx is handling this better than I am. 

> third pov <

Jinx walks into her workshop. Her frame slumped as she brought the tense atmosphere into the room. She throws her gun onto her table breaking whatever was on it. She went against Silcos wishes once again and she knew there will be consequences she just didn't know what they will be. She was tired and exhausted because she hasn't slept at all for the past two days. She rubbed her face trying to wake herself up. She brushed her bangs back as she takes a deep breath. Now that she knew Y/n was safe the tiredness took over her body. She looks at her couch where Mylo dummy was sitting. She crashed onto the couch bringing her knees to her chest. 

"Messed up once again" the 'dummy' said. She punched the dummy with her leg hard kicking it off the couch and going back to her position. Her back was to the rest of the room as her front faced the couch. She closed her eyes and almost falling asleep when the big metal door was pushed open. 

"Jinx" Silcos voice echoed through the room. Her eyes opened as she got up on her elbows looking at Silco who was making his way to Jinx. He walked on one wing of the propeller going around to the one that Jinx was on. She ignored him going back to her position on the couch not facing him anymore "save it Silco. I don't want to hear your lessons right now". Silco still made his way to Jinx standing in front of the couch. "you will listen anyway. Your recent behavior is unacceptable" he said. He looked around her room seeing a dummy on the floor. He didn't seem angry just disappointed. He put his hands behind his back. 

"you disobeyed my orders multiple times" Jinx frowns looking at the couch "you went to the topside, twice" Jinx winces at his tone curling into herself more "both times you got into a fight with enforcers. You went on a rampage at Zaun, having a mental breakdown at the top of a building" Jinx curls in herself even more at each word. "Sevika caught you being distracted at the job, resulting in our loss" Jinx frowns her eyes getting watery but not letting the tears spill. "You have been sneaking out multiple times when you knew that I needed you here" his voice was cold as it echoed through the room. "You had the audacity to go in my office and demand something from me. And when I didn't listen you yelled storming out on another rampage". There was silence as he waited for what Jinx had to say. But this time she had nothing to say. She was tired, and all the things he was saying were true. 

"Jinx looks at me" she doesn't move for a second but then moves to sit on the couch. She doesn't look at him tough just stares at the floor below. "You walked directly into a trap when you knew it was far too dangerous. And all this because of that girl" his presence was intimidating even for Jinx. "She made you not think rationally, go soft--" "no she didn't!!" Jinx protests but he sends her a cold glare telling her to keep quiet. "Because of her you walked into a trap almost getting yourself killed. She is a bad influence on you" Jinx opens her mouth about to say something but once again Silco sends her a cold stare and she closes her mouth clicking her tongue. 

"Get some rest. Tomorrow we will talk more. And don't try to sneak out again because (D/n) will come and we will discuss what to do with both of you" was all he said before walking out of the room. Jinx watches him walkout. This isn't the first time she messed up but all the other times Silco was forgiving and understanding. But maybe that's because the previous mistakes weren't as serious as this one. She burrows her face into the couch and screams. After that, she passes out. 

Sorry kinda short, I have exams. But I plan for the next chapter to be long.
