After deciding to see what Maze had found out, Lucifer and Amenadiel spread their wings and flew there like a flash.
"Okay, Maze. Now give us the details." Lucifer said as soon as they entered the surveillance room.
"Trixie's in real trouble."
Lucifer opened his mouth to scorn her again but she added quickly. "You'd better watch the footage I found."
All three of them looked at the screen where the inside of a bus appeared.
"When you told me that Trixie might have headed for the beach and that she probably used a bus, I came up with this." Maze told them and pointed to the screen.
At first, they saw some passengers getting on and off the bus but then they noticed a familiar person. Trixie hopped on and sat down on the seat nearest to the door. She acted normal, she kept looking through the window the whole way. There was no one who could threaten or want to hurt her.
Lucifer gave Maze a meaningful look. He wanted to ask where was that huge part.
"Just wait. You'll see more." The demon said, having known Lucifer's impatience through the millennia she spent by his side.
Lucifer decided to give her the benefit of the doubt and continued observing the girl. Finally, when the bus stopped a couple of stops farther, Trixie got off and went in the direction of the beach.
"Penelope was right – she really went there. She must have been shocked. It's all my fault." Lucifer whispered and hung his head.
"Don't go there again, brother." Amenadiel spoke and touched his arm.
Easier said than done, Lucifer thought.
Then he gazed at Maze. "What happened next?"
"Unfortunately, there aren't any surveillance cameras in the area she went to, namely the beach but I kept watching and it turned out that she spent about an hour there and right after the sunset she turned up near the same bus stop." She played the recording and what appeared there made their blood run cold.
Lucifer held his breath as his worst nightmare was coming true right before his eyes. There was Trixie coming closer to the empty bus stop and suddenly turning around towards some bushes.
"She must have heard something." Lucifer whispered, not being able to take his eyes off the screen.
"Something or rather someone." Maze said barely audibly, making Lucifer glance at her for a few seconds. Then all of a sudden a person showed up, he was wearing a grey sweatshirt and jeans. The odd thing was, he wasn't hiding his face. He threw himself at the girl who was obviously so shocked she didn't even try to fight back. He grabbed her, put a piece of cloth on her mouth and nose and in a moment she was out.
Lucifer started shaking violently and his eyes flashed red when he watched Trixie's body going limp and the assailant catching her just before she hit the ground. Then he lifted her, threw her over his shoulder and carried her away in the direction he came from. Unfortunately, it was out of camera range so they couldn't see where he was heading.
Lucifer let out a low growl, it was as if a beast was awaken. Even Maze got frightened, she hardly saw him in such state, he was like that only when it was about Chloe and now Trixie.
"Luci, calm down." Amenadiel said and put his hand on his arm but his brother shook it off violently.
"No! I won't calm down!" He roared. "When I'll get him, I'm going to punish this scum bag like I've never punished anyone before. I guarantee you he'll beg me to kill him at once. Maze, who is he anyway?"
