Ever since they had been interrupted by Timothee, Aubrey had avoided Harry like the fucking plague.

Which was ironic considering they were currently isolating together during a pandemic.

But unfortunately, despite Harry hoping that their steamy encounter in the living room would now lead them to becoming much more intimate, it had actually done the complete opposite.

Aubrey had barely even spoken to him or even looked in his direction since that night.

Over the past few days she had spent most of the time in her room, or Harry would sometimes hear her late at night sneaking down to the hot tub when she thought he was asleep.

He knew he should confront her.

He knew that he should talk to her about what had happened between them and why she was now being so awkward around him.... but he just didn't have the heart to.

He didn't want to pressure Aubrey or force her to face him.

So that night when Tim finally left and Aubrey took herself to bed, Harry decided that he would just wait for her to come to him.

He just didn't want to make her angry anymore...

He didn't want to upset her.

He didn't want to try and control the outcome anymore.

For once in his life he actually cared about someone else's feelings.

But what he didn't expect was for it to now be almost a week later and Aubrey still wasn't speaking to him.

It was actually painful now.

Harry was so desperate to spend time with her it was embarrassing, even for just a short while. His heart soaring in his chest whenever he got the slightest glimpse at Aubrey whenever they passed in the halls, or when he gazed out of his bedroom window to see her in sinking into the Jacuzzi.

He actually missed her now.

He missed being in the same room as her for longer than 30 seconds. He missed being able to admire her close up. He missed the sound of her voice. Missed her laugh. He even missed the angry glares she'd give him and the sarcastic comments.

At this moment in time he'd take anything she'd throw at him just for some kind of communication from her. Because as of recent, Aubrey hadn't give him fuck all.

Any room he entered Aubrey would quickly leave, muttering a few excuses under her breath as she did. If they accidentally approached each other, she would instantly put her head down and slip past him as fast as she could.

It was driving Harry crazy.

Although he did actually look forward to the moments when he would bump into Aubrey because they did make his stomach back flip and his body tingle. However when he then had to watch her beautiful expression twist into some kind of anxious discomfort when her eyes landed on him, it almost always knocked the fucking wind out of him.

It was awful.

Maybe it all felt so much worse for Harry because he was so isolated from everyone he knew and loved.

He was lonely. Which only fueled his need for human interaction more. But no matter how many people he FaceTimed or text, it wasn't enough.

Plus the fact that he was living with somebody who he wanted so badly, he would give his soul just to touch her again.
