-chapter 31-

As soon as everything stops moving around in front of me, I take the turner from around Sirius's head. I glare at him, pissed.

"What?" He asks innocently.

I shake my head back and forth, then turn around and walk away from my stupid boyfriend.

I take in my surroundings. They look the same as they did before, not older or anything. The boys' beds look the same.

I turn around and look at Sirius. He's staring at me, his grey eyes sparkling like they always do.

"I'm sorry," I say, taking his hand in mine. "Let's just figure out how far back we've come, then we can maybe pull some pranks or something."

Sirius smiles. But then his smile fades as we hear footsteps come up the stairs. Panic is etched in Sirius's face as he drops my hand and rushes over to James's trunk. He pulls out a cloak and swings it around himself. He disappears.

"Oh my God! Is that an invisible-" I'm cut off as Sirius's hand reaches out and grabs me, pulling me under the cloak with him. He wraps his arms around my waist, resting his chin on my head.

We watch silently as James, Remus and Sirius (whaaa?) walk in. They each go their beds, plopping down.

I watch Sirius, and only Sirius. He folds his hands behind his head, causing his shirt to lift up. I stare at his abs.

"Are you drooling?" Sirius whispers in my ear.

I ignore his comment and focus on the conversation.

"So Sirius," James says. "How's Astrid?"

"Great." Past Sirius says.

Past James and Past Remus exchange a look. "Just 'great'?" Remus questions.

"Aren't you gonna tell us the juicy details? Is she a good kisser?"

Past Sirius sits up, glaring at James. "Why do you wanna know?"

James shrugs, "Just curious."

"Well curiosity killed the cat." Sirius says.

"Geez," James says. "What's got your panties in a bunch?"

"Nothing." Past Sirius snaps.

The three boys sit in silence. I look at Remus. He's reading The Outsiders. Wait. How did he get that? That's my old copy! Gah! James is playing with a golden snitch, which he obviously stole. Sirius is, well, being Sirius, I guess. He's just sitting there, staring out at space.

How long did we go back? I ask Sirius in my head.

This was about three hours ago. He replies.

What should we do now? I ask.

Let's go. He says.

We start to awkwardly shuffle out of the dorm. Luckily the door was left open. We take the cloak off once we reach the bottom of the stairs and check that no one around.

I look at Sirius. His black hair is wild. His grey orbs are filled with mischief. He stares down at me, a smile tugging at his lips.

"What?" I ask.

"Nothing," he says. "Just that you're beautiful."

I blush, "Naw, you're so sweet!" I reach up and pinch his cheeks. He swats my hand away. "No need to be violent, honey."

I grab his hand and lead him out of the Common Room. We walk down the halls, hand-in-hand. It feels nice, just the two of us, with no worries. Besides how to get back to our regular time. That's the only problem.

"So..." Sirius says as we pass the Great Hall. "What shall we do?"

"Prank?"

"Naw," Sirius says. "We always do pranks. Why not take advantage of the past while we have it."

"I like the way your mind works, Mr. Black." I say.

"Touché, Mrs. Black."

Sirius's POV:

The words roll right off my tongue, "Touché, Mrs. Black." Logan stops walking. She stares up at me through those mesmerizing light grey eyes of hers.

"What did you just say?"

I scratch the back of my neck with my free hand. "I- um- I said Mrs. Black?"

"What?"

"I've been, uh, meaning to ask you something, but, uh, haven't really gotten around to it yet."

We stand there, just looking at each other intensely. I take my free hand and run my thumb across Logan's bottom lip.

"Well out with it." She says in a soft voice.

"Fine," I say. "Just not here."

I grab her hand, intertwining our fingers, and lead her out to the Black Lake.

{A/N: Was this a better length? I feel like it was.

So what do you think of the new cover? Logan's hair isn't brown, but you'll see why I have the new cover when the end of the book is nearer.

Sirius Question: Should I do a sequel after this?}
