-chapter 34-

James looks at me. I smile and wave. "Hi!" I say cheerfully.

"Don't 'hi' me," he says, dropping the cloak to the floor. "You are going to tell me everything, because I suspect something is up."

The smile slides from my face. Sirius's grip around my waist tightens. I turn around to look at Sirius. I know James is right, and by the look on Sirius's face, he knows too. I smile sadly at Sirius before turning around to face James again.

"Okay, alright," I say. "You got me. I'll tell you what's going on. But you have to promise to not tell anyone, understand?" I look at Remus, who's still sitting on his bed. Remus nods. James nods. "Good."

I explain everything to James and Remus, starting at the point where I got the letter, explaining who I really am. I even tell him about the engagement.

"Aww!" James squeals. "You guys are so cute! I knew you would end up together from the first time I saw you together on the train!"

I glance over at Sirius, who has a sly grin on his face. "You remember when I asked you on a date the first time I met you?"

"You asked her on a date? I thought you met on the train?" James says, obviously confused.

I smile at Sirius. "You never told them?"

Sirius shakes his head while laughing. I start laughing too. "I can't believe you never told them! Why wouldn't you tell them?"

Sirius shrugs, taking my hand in his. "I love you."

"I love you, too." I kiss him gently on the lips.

"I honestly don't think there's anything I can do to fix this," I say. "I think traveling back in time is too risky." I say to Sirius. "We could mess everything up. What if we messed us up?"

We are currently cuddled on his bed, after we nicely asked James and Remus to leave to give us some alone time. Our legs are tangled together, my head resting on his chest. The thump thump of his heart is putting me at ease.

Sirius sighs. "What are we supposed to do then? I certainly don't have any ideas. You know I'm not that smart."

I laugh, "I know, babe. I don't know what to do either." I pause. "What if I he finds me? What if he kills me?"

"I won't let that happen." Sirius says, his voice husky and sexy. His arms tighten around me, making me feel warm and safe.

I look at up Sirius, meeting his grey orbs with my own. I move up slightly so I'm face-to-face with him. I push his messy black hair away from his forehead. I slowly run my hand down his face, letting it rest on his chest.

"I love you so much, Log. Did you know that?" Sirius whispers.

"Did you know that I fell so hard for you that I broke my leg?" I whisper back.

Sirius laughs softly. "I'm serious. I really do love you."

"I know you're serious," I say. "You're Sirius Orion Black III."

Sirius pokes my nose. "That's not what I meant, silly."

"I know."

I lean up slightly and connect my lips with his. The kiss is soft, meaningful. I smile into the kiss. Sirius bites my lip, asking for an entrance. I gratefully give him one. Our tongues dance, sending sparks throughout my body. This is a completely side of Sirius I'm seeing, or, feeling.

The kiss starts to heat up, want shining through. Sirius rolls over on top of me, his hand sliding up my shirt.

I don't stop him, to tell him that it's wrong, even when he slips my shirt off over my head. And I do the same to him.

{A/N: Do you think they did the frickle frackle? Sorry for the long wait for the update. I've been a little busy... Oh who am I kidding? I've had writers block.}
