chapter 7- close call

It had been 4 months since I saw my bae. But today was one of the worst days. EVER. Today I looked in my favorite Christian mag and I dropped it and ran under my bed. There on one of the pages. Crouton kissing another girl. "MOMMYYYYYYY" I screamed and she ran in. She saw the magazine "read the article for me. I can't look!" I said covering my eyes. Mom started to read "Family Force 5 lead singer tackled by x-girlfriend Tracey Jones. Crouton claims she threatened his current girlfriend Maelee Dawson. Who he mentioned he LOVES more than life itself. More information at www.-" I cut her off "okay that's good. I'm going to go call my boyfriend now" I said and grabbed my phone "yello?" He answered "hai! Who's this Tracey Jone person?" I said. He laughed "you read the article?" He said. "Yes I did. Actually my mom did. And I love you too!" I said grinning. He laughed "hey. Throw something on. I'm on my way" he said. I nodded "okie! bai!" I said and we hung up. I got dressed laughing at the fact he knew I was in my pj's. I ran outside and waited for bae.

He FINALLY pulled up in a nice Mustang and I jumped over the door. Not even bothering to open it. He smirked at me "Maelee Dawson. The woman who didn't open car doors" he said jokingly. I playfully stuck my tongue out at him and he grinned "lets go" he said and we pulled away. He finally drove in to a parking lot to a park where I obviously ran to the swings "hey, Danceshoe let's do that into the woods thing!" He said. I laughed at my nickname and got on the swing with him. Pretending it was a horse like the In To The Woods play. It was outdoors and goofy as heck. So yeah. We both laughed and he got up. Leaving me on the swing. He pulled it back and let go, making me fly forward. I smiled and we both started singing

Crouton: you energize me, I've never felt this before

me: oh and it's blinding, brighter than the sun at it's core

both: we glow in the dark we were made of light. Glow all day. Glow all night, we shine. You and I

and so on. (glow in the dark by FF5) 

we stopped kissing and I stopped swinging to kiss him. I hugged him first and said our first "I love you" and he said "I love you too." We left the park around 7:30 ish and went home. He kissed me goodbye and I went to bed. I waited to hear his Mustang pull away from my house to close my eyes. And start counting my many, many blessings...
