Chapter 19

Later that night, I heard a loud smash in the hotel room. I was too scared to see who it was so I woke up Sam to go and see. It was way dark.

Sam saw something and didn't come back in the room for a while.

When it was morning, I noticed that Sam wasn't in bed. I got up and saw him on the floor covered in blood.

I looked in the baby's room, thank god he was still in his cot.

I ran back to Sam and tried to get him up.

I called to get an ambulance. After 12 minutes, they arrived. They took Sam away. "He will be alright" the paramedic said. "Would you like to come in the ambulance with him?" He asked me. "Yea can I bring my baby there's no babysitter?" I asked him. "Sure ma'am"

I got Elliot and locked the hotel room door. We walked out with them.

I jumped into the ambulance and sat next to Sam.

"What happened?" I asked Sam.
"Reuben he hit me I guess it was revenge!" He stopped talking.

When we got to the hospital I went back out and tried to find Reuben. First I went to his house, it was open. I went round in rooms and...he was stood in the kitchen.

"So you fine it so fucking funny to hurt Sam?"
"Haha yea!"

I walked over to him, and kicked him in stomach. He was now on the floor in pain. I opened a draw and it had knives in it. I picked a sharp one and kneeled beside Reuben. I put the point to his neck and started shouting at him.

Until I realized what if I do kill him, then Sam would be alone and have to look after the baby on his own.

"Please don't kill me" he begged.
"TELL ME WHY YOU RAPED ME AND BURT SAM!?"
"Cos I was jealous, you looked nice and I found ways to get you!"
"But you didn't get me, you hurt me!"
"I know and I will never do these things ever again!"
"Promise and you will leave us alone?"
"Swear!"

I got up and put the knife back. I helped Reuben up and hugged him.

I left his house with a smile and went back to the hospital where Sam was sitting up playing with the baby.

"Where have you been?" He asked.
"I've sorted Reuben out and he promises he will never hurt us ever again!"
"Okay"

We kissed and I sat on the edge of the bed.

I'm lucky to have Sam. He is the best boyfriend you can ever have but now there's a next step, marriage!
