I arrived at Starbucks at 5:30 A.M, I walked inside and found a cozy booth that I wanted me and Terrance to sit at.
I walked up to the ordering counter and told the lady that I wanted a pumpkin spice latte, and for Terrance I ordered him a gingerbread mocha, a few seconds later the lady came back with coffees in her hand, I was careful not to drop it.
Just as I sat down in the booth and put the coffees onto the table Terrance's car had pulled up. He had a 2015 Camero and it wasn't even out yet, he got out of his car and made his way towards the Starbucks entrance, once he turned his head and saw me staring at him my heart stopped beating, I knew right then and there he was trying to read me but I looked away.
He made his way to the cozy booth I was sitting at, he was wearing a shirt with blue sleeves and white in the middle of his shirt .
"I'm so nervous right now"I thought to myself, my breathing is getting short, and my heart is about to breakdown crying. I can't believe that I'm going to Cali. and I'm leaving all of my friends.
I felt tears coming down my cheeks but I quickly wiped them away as I saw Terrance walking toward me.

"Heyy babe" I said
" Heyy honey" Carmen said, I could tell that she was worried about something.
" So what's going on? I know you something is up because you only call me when it's something urgent"
"Ok... My dad got a new job opportunity because he recently got fired from his other one, and now he's found a new one in Cali and-"
" that's great news Carmen!" I said excitedly
"It is but-"
Oh no! She started crying and I knew this was going to be heart breaking for her, I put my left hand on her right hand which was in her lap, and then I cupped her cheek with my right hand and wiped the tears off that fell from her eyes.
" Carmen everything's going to be ok, we're going to be ok" I said with a smile.
