Chapter 9: A box of chocolates

The reason I screamed was because when I walked out of my bathroom, and into my bedroom Terrance was lying on my bed.

Before I left his house he went back upstairs to finish doing something with his clothes, which I knew what his plan was. Terrance's plan was to move into my house, but he didn't tell me yet.

"Terrance you scared the living jiffy out of me" I said.

"Sorry babe, i just couldn't help myself" he laughed.

I went over to my extra large bed where Terrance was lying and grabbed a pillow and smacked him with it.

"what was that for?" he said rubbing the back of his head.

" that was for scaring me" I simply said.

Terrance then pulled me closer to him on the bed and just when his was about to lean in and kiss me the doorbell rung, just great i missed a moment.

"who is it?" Terrance asked sitting up on the bed.

" I don't know yet because i'm not at the door yet" I said smiling at Terrance.

I got up from my large bed and went downstairs to see who was at the door, I opened the door and got the surprize that I never thought I would have expected.

"Um hi are you Carmen?" a tall boy asked me.

I was in my thoughts just looking at him, he was tall, he had a nice jawline, brown hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a muscle t-shirt so I could see all his muscles through his shirt.

"uh- yeah, im Carmen"

"Well Carmen, your dad sent you these flowers and chocolates, and I don't know if you remember me but we went to elementary school together" he said "I'm Grayson".

"oh- yeah I remember you!" I said as I had a flashback to where we had all of our classes together.

I stepped outside of the door and into the warm air that surrounded me, and I closed the door.

"So what brings you here Grayson?" I asked.

"well your dad told me that he was leaving for california, and wanted me to check up on you just in case you were ok" he said looking into my hazel brown eyes.

"Awww, how sweet of daddy but I don't need a babysitter" I said laughing lightly. " not that you're my babysitter" I said referring to Grayson.

" none taken" he said "anyways, It was nice meeting you again Carmen" he said.

"you too Grayson, oh and didn't you have a brother?"

"actually yeah, he's in the car" he said pointing down the driveway.

"well tell him I said hi" I said smiling.

"will do" Grayson said smiling.

Gosh his smile was beautiful, oh my gosh did I just say that!, jeez what's going on with me I have a boyfriend. I snapped out of my thoughts.

" well I should get back inside" I said smiling down at the floor.

Grayson put his finger under my chin making me look up at him, "Yeah" was all he said and before I knew it he was kissing me. His lips felt so warm and soft like my own, but I snapped back to reality and pulled away in shock. He gave me the flowers and chocolates and walked away.
