It was now 8:00 in the morning, and i was still at Terrance's house, we were both on the couch watching tv.Terrance and i were next to each other, he put his arm around me, and i cuddled closer to him .
"Terrance I think I should stay here with you" I said looking at him.
" Carmen thats great, But what about your stepdad?" he said looking at me.
" I'll step outside, and call him" I said grabbing my phone and going to the parking lot.
I looked through my contacts on my phone and found my stepdads number, I clicked it and it started ringing.
"Hello?" said my step dad on the other line.
"Um-heyy dad, I have something to tell you" I said nervously.
" Let me guess, you want to stay here in New York" he said which was correct.
"Well- yes, im so sorry dad, i knew that moving to california meant a lot to you and-" i said but he cut my sentence off.
"Honey its ok, I'll just move to california and give you the house, I'll call everyday, and i'll be back sooner than you can say "i'll be back in a jiffy" He said.
"Really dad, you're making me cry" I said.
" Well im sorry baby cakes" He said.
" I love you daddy" i said wiping my tears.
" I love you too baby" He said.
" So i'll see you soon at home?" I said.
"Actually you won't carmen" He said nervously.
"Dad where are you!" i shouted, "You better not be at the airport" I said about to cry again.
" Well don't cry because I'm at the airport, Carmen don't worry about me i'll be fine ok" He said into the phone. "Look I have to go Carmen, i'll call you as soon as I get to the house in california" He said
" So is this our final goodbye" I said
"No" was all he said and he hung up.
