"are we there yet" I asked again wiggling in my chair
"babe i'll tell you when we get there ok" Terrance said and focused on the road
I slumped down in my chair and started to pout
"babe i'm sorry, it's supposed to be a surprise" Terrance said and that made me smile, I absolutely love surprises.
"ok, I understand" I said and started smiling because Terrance had grabbed my hand. A few minutes later we were at the boardwalk.
"what are we doing at a boardwalk?" I asked Terrance
"just come on" Terrance said grabbing me by my hand and intertwining ours together.
The sun was setting and the sky looked absolutely beautiful, I was guessing that we were in Brooklyn New York because there are no boardwalks like this in any part of New York. I heard Terrance laughing.
"Whats so funny" I laughed and lightly punched his arm
"It's just that your so surprised" Terrance said still laughing
We started walking and saw these cute little game stands and I saw this cute bear that I really wanted, I asked Terrance if we could play the game so I could get it and a few seconds later I got my bear.
"thanks babe" I said and hugged him with my bear.
Me and Terrance kept walking down the boardwalk and then I saw the cutest diner ever.
"you didn't" I said looking at Terrance squeezing his arm.
"ok you're right, I didn't" Terrance said looking down at me.
We walked into the diner and sat at a booth in the back, the whole diner itself was beautiful. The seats were red, and the tables were blue and black checkerboard, and the menu's had a nice fit to the place.
I picked up one of the menu's that were on the table and looked at the choices, to be honest I wanted a chocolate milkshake, and french fries, sometimes im not always hungry.
I looked up at Terrance and he was just laughing like crazy.
"whats so funny T?" I asked feeling a little left out because I didn't know what was so funny.
"just you babe" Terrance said
"do you know what your ordering" I asked Terrance
"yeah, im going to order the hamburger that comes with french fries and a vanilla shake, what about you?" Terrance said
"im not that hungry but im going to order a chocolate milkshake, and some french fries" I said and Terrance looked at me with a mad face. "what?" I asked
"babe is something wrong?"
"no" I said looking down
"babe, you need to eat, im sorry for telling you" He said reaching towards my hand but I moved it quickly, I got up from my seat and then grabbed my teddy bear and left the diner.
The sun was now disappearing and the sky was now dark blue, to pink, to orange, and then back to blue again.
"wow" I thought in my head "it's so beautiful"
At that moment I felt someone wrapping their arms around my waist, and I slightly jumped.
'babe it's just me" Terrance said, he then started turning me around.
"babe-" I said but was cut off by a long kiss from Terrance.
"feel better" Terrance asked
"I guess" I said looking at Terrance
"is everything ok?, I feel like your keeping something from me" Terrance said looking at me concerned
"well Mary is coming here because she's moving and she needs someone to stay with" I said looking at Terrance
"so I guess i'll have to be the one to pick her up?" Terrance said looking at me with his arms crossed now.
"yeah, and i'll have to stay home with the twins" I said looking down
"okay then, I guess it's time to go home then" Terrance said and grabbed my hand and we walked to the car. As we got in the car and started driving down the road the radio was playing my favorite song, it's "how deep is your love" then I then started singing.

"yeah, and when we get married your gonna sing it to me" I said smiling at him.
Terrance just laughed and then I started laughing, and next thing you know we are at home.
"i'm so tired" I whined and got out of the car.
"your tired?, i'm the one who had to wake up and plan the whole day" Terrance said now plopping himself on the couch.
"sorry" I said walking inside of the house.
"Carmen I didn't mean it like that" Terrance said
"it's fine T, im glad you took this whole day to admire me" I said smiling.
