Remembering Us

For a while

I hated you

What you did to me

Couldn't forgive you

Now I realize

I miss you so

I really do

I want you to know

How much I loved you

How much I cared

But you never returned it

It wasn't shared

Choked up inside

All the tears I cried

Feel like I'm suffocating

Almost like I've died

I miss you so much

But you're a memory

Something inside my head

It can't be taken from me

So when you're alone

Do you think of me?

All the good times we had

What we used to be?

I know I do

I loved you so

But now we're through

But I still love you
