Love In The Shadows

You told me to stay away

Told me don't come back

Didn't want me no more

Though it's too late for that

Then I found out

That you miss me too

Ask people how I am

I wish that I heard it from you

Even though time's passed

I know that you haven't changed

I'm glad to know you still care

I'm happy that you miss me

I wish we could be friends again

I don't like all this fighting

Once I loved you so much

Like you hit me with lightning

So now I've moved on

Left you behind

Sometimes goodbye's the best

Because I'm no longer blind

I saw through who you are

Though you have a good heart

Inside you like me just a bit

We'll never really be apart
