Forgotten Love

You let me go

But you said you loved me

What does it show?

You didn't love enough

But every day

You find out how I am

From other people

Why do you care?

Apparently you like me

Why don't you show that?

I know you do anyway

Can't hide from that

I can live without you

But life's really hard

Having you made it easier

But I lost that half

I've been alone for a while

I don't like it at all

So I hid myself away

Built myself behind a wall

Even though I've moved on

I think about us a lot

What we were and had

I hope you haven't forgot
